Episode 17 recap: Xu Wei admits that she came for the money.
Xu Wei almost fell into Bai Qingyi's embrace. In fact, Xu Wei also wanted to be with Bai Qingyi very much, but now they have a sibling relationship, so they can't be together. Xu Wei quickly returned to her room, back to a rational state. Bai Qingyi was still questioning why she left him, but Xu Wei said it was because of money. After signing the contract, Bai Qingyi could only be her younger brother.
After returning home, Bai Qingyi confronted his father about why he used money to bribe Xu Wei and declared that he would never give up. Bai Qingyi went to find Qiu Yu again, and Qiu Yu taunted him sarcastically, saying that Bai Qingyi was not worthy of Xu Wei at all. When Qiu Yu was escorting Xu Wei home that night, he happened to see Bai Qingyi's car parked at the door.
