Episode 9 recap: Xu Wei was almost kidnapped, but Bai Qingyi came to her rescue.
As soon as Xu Wei and Bai Qingyi returned, they were seen by their aunt, who even made an excuse to offer them a late-night snack. Both of them declined directly and went back to their respective rooms. Bai Qingyi was happy because he found the Nezha figure that had protected him in his childhood, and naturally, he didn't want Xu Wei to be his sister. The aunt still told her husband about the unusual relationship between the two kids, but the master of the Bai family told him not to overthink it.
