Episode 9 recap: Yang Xiaozhu and Zhu Xiaoyang had an argument.
During the busy period of Company 448, Hong Guang took away many Dingtian's clients. Zhu Xiaoyang's attitude toward Yang Xiaozhu remained distant, which greatly troubled her. While having a meal with Shuishui, Yang Xiaozhu even saw Zhu Xiaoyang chatting with Hou Hongguang at a coffee shop. That night, Yang Xiaozhu lay in bed comparing herself to Hou Hongguang. The next day, Zhu Xiaoyang took Yang Xiaozhu to a meeting at Hongguang Technology. Watching how Zhu Xiaoyang interacted with Hou Hongguang after the meeting, Yang Xiaozhu started to speculate, thinking that Zhu Xiaoyang couldn't let go of Hou Hongguang. She decided to help him, and Zhu Xiaoyang got angry when he heard that Yang Xiaozhu was sending gifts to Hou Hongguang every day in her name to please her.
Yang Xiaozhu shared her troubles with Shuishui, and Shuishui decided to help her come up with a plan. Under Shuishui's guidance, Yang Xiaozhu launched a comprehensive attack on Zhu Xiaoyang, but her methods were clumsy and ultimately unsuccessful. As a last resort, Shuishui advised Yang Xiaozhu to directly ask Zhu Xiaoyang and Hou Hongguang about their relationship. Yang Xiaozhu confronted Zhu Xiaoyang about the incident at the coffee shop, and Zhu Xiaoyang explained that he was just discussing work matters with Hou Hongguang before the meeting, and she was only an assistant who didn't need to hear certain things. Yang Xiaozhu stormed off in anger.
Yang Xiaozhu channeled her frustration into strength and stayed up late preparing a cooperation plan with Hongguang Technology. In the end, she received a notice of personnel transfer and was reassigned to the Marketing Department as a senior project manager in the Product Department.
