Episode 21 recap: Mo Chenyuan and Mo Haoli perished together.
Feng Ruoyao received the Xuanming Order in the Qingxu Realm and knew that something must have happened in the Xuanming Realm. She hurriedly returned with Mo Chenyuan and found the Demon Realm in ruins. All the disciples of the Xuanming Realm had been killed, and even Feng Ruoyao's assistant, Wuyou, had met an untimely death. Seeing everything before her, Feng Ruoyao gritted her teeth in anger. She vowed to tear apart the one who destroyed the Xuanming Realm and killed the disciples.

Mo Haoli then burst out of the formation. In order to save Feng Ruoyao, Mo Chenyuan chose to perish together with Mo Haoli. Feng Ruoyao pleaded with him not to do so, but Mo Chenyuan only wanted to ensure her safety. Mo Haoli and Mo Chenyuan dissipated like smoke, leaving Feng Ruoyao in intense grief. Suddenly, she thought of her Crimson Flame Feather and exerted all her efforts to infuse it with energy, believing that one day she would reunite with Mo Chenyuan.
