Episode 1 recap: Zhang Yi Meng found herself transmigrated.
Zhang Yi Meng had another dream where she saw herself as Princess Yuanzhu of the ancient country Gu Xi Xi. She was being forced into a marriage when General Ye Zhu, who had always had a good relationship with Princess Yuanzhu, led the Beichi Army to rescue her. The two sides were engaged in a fierce battle when suddenly someone abducted Princess Yuanzhu. In order to protect General Ye Zhu, Princess Yuanzhu jumped into the nearby river.
After Princess Yuanzhu jumped into the river, General Ye Zhu followed suit, but before he could grasp her hand, Princess Yuanzhu felt that she couldn't hold on any longer and sank down into the water. She woke up from the dream at this point because she kept having this recurring dream. Due to this strange idea, Zhang Yi Meng believed that she was Princess Yuanzhu. Her parents thought she had developed a mental illness and took her to the hospital for treatment, but Princess Yuanzhu insisted that she was not sick.
After leaving the hospital, Princess Yuanzhu took a walk by the river and looked at her reflection in the water. She couldn't help but remember the scene of her and General Ye Zhu falling into the water, and her body involuntarily leaned towards the river surface. When Princess Yuanzhu woke up, she found a maid dressed in ancient clothing by her side, and only then did she realize that she had transmigrated. However, to her surprise, after transmigrating to Gu Xi Xi, she turned out to be a maid herself. As she was feeling puzzled, the housekeeper suddenly walked in with people, holding a whip, ready to reprimand her.
