Episode 8 recap: Jiang Jie and Li Nai were in danger.
Li Nai grabbed Jiang Jie's hand and they escaped. Once they reached a safe place, Jiang Jie couldn't help but complain about Li Nai, saying that running away when unable to fight was truly her style. Upon hearing Jiang Jie's complaint, Li Nai reminded him not to forget that she was the one who saved him. After saying this, she even called Jiang Jie by his childhood nickname, "Crab."
Upon hearing Li Nai call him by his nickname, Jiang Jie realized that she had recognized him a long time ago. The reason Li Nai returned to Chun Cheng was because Song Duo called her and said he had discovered clues about a spy. When Li Nai entered, Song Duo took out a shopping list and claimed to suspect Zheng Fang Xing as the spy. However, Li Nai immediately saw through his lie and exposed his deception.

Li Nai and Cui Can had already found a suitable store, and Li Nai was looking forward to the future of the restaurant. She wanted Cui Can to be the sous chef, but Cui Can told her that he had already submitted his resume to Chun Jiang Yue.
After learning the details, Li Nai found out that Cui Can happened to meet Jiang Xiu while tracking Zheng Fang Xing. He fell in love with Jiang Xiu at first sight and even got his WeChat contact. Since Jiang Xiu worked as a head chef at Xi Jiang Yue, Cui Can planned to work there.
