Episode 19 recap: Arrival of LeTian touches everyone's hearts.
Early in the morning, Guo Dong Li discovered that the teapot was empty. Xie Quan Jia suggested that he go to the pond to drink and mentioned that Guo Dong Li, who was drunk last night, was drinking water from the pond while vomiting. This shocked Guo Dong Li. He was so drunk that he didn't remember what he had done, but he only knew that his whole body was in pain. Yu Huan described to him the situation of his lightness competition with Liu Lang last night. She saw him jumping directly from the second floor, and people sent him back to his room three times. But he either came back to say hello or danced wearing a skirt made of leaves. He even found an artist to paint a portrait for him.

Gu Chuan didn't think much of it. As a mischievous ancestor, he believed he could handle LeTian. Later, Gu Chuan taught LeTian how to make clay figurines. He skillfully made many clay figures. To show off, Gu Chuan took out a limited edition Xie Yanni doll. However, LeTian twisted the doll's head off, which happened to be witnessed by Xie Quan Jia. She mistakenly thought that Gu Chuan was using her portrait to harm others.
Fan Zhong Ju deliberately picked flowers to give to Yu Huan, and his words almost caused a commotion, thanks to LeTian.
Ren Shu took LeTian out to play. He was excitedly looking at all the food on the street. In order to get some candied haws, he pretended that he had never seen them before, while the vendor kept calling out. In the end, they each had a string and started eating.
LeTian wanted to see what his father was doing at work, so he begged Ren Shu to take him to find his dad. Guo Dong Li was scolded by the shopkeeper, and when LeTian saw this, he defended his dad and threw the candied haws at the shopkeeper. To distract LeTian, Ren Shu purposely gave him some pocket money. LeTian accidentally bumped into a stall while buying snacks, and they were scolded by the stall owner. Guo Dong Li came to apologize and offered compensation, which made LeTian feel that his dad was a bit spineless.
Later, the stall owner was beaten up by someone who put a sack over his head. LeTian's arrival was all because of a letter from Guo Dong Li. When he read it, he realized it was written while his dad was drunk. LeTian came to see his dad but discovered that the legendary formidable figure was not as strong as he thought, and he was too weak. Father and son had an argument, and LeTian fell asleep in Ren Shu's room, reminding her of her own relationship with her father, similar to LeTian's situation.
She knew LeTian wasn't asleep and told him that she had done the same thing when she was young, hoping he could change, or else he would end up like her and make his dad hate him. The next morning, LeTian handed Guo Dong Li a letter with a child's drawing attached. He apologized to his dad, and they reconciled. The shopkeeper came to dismiss Guo Dong Li, but LeTian voluntarily apologized to the shopkeeper for his behavior the previous day. Seeing this, the shopkeeper couldn't bear to dismiss Guo Dong Li and allowed him to continue as the junior shopkeeper, but without any hopes of promotion or salary increase.
This was the outcome Guo Dong Li had hoped for. He simply used the promotion and salary increase as a way to solidify his position as the junior shopkeeper. That night, Guo Dong Li took a few days off to spend time with his son. LeTian, appreciating his father's hard work, said that if Guo Dong Li went back to their hometown, he would take care of his father. As the day for LeTian to return home approached, Guo Dong Li prepared a lot of delicious food to prevent LeTian from spreading rumors that his dad had died.
It turned out that Sun Biao Tou was a person from the Western City Lord. He knew Ren Shu's identity and, upon seeing the princess being bullied, secretly beat up the stall owner and even kidnapped the shopkeeper, letting the public know about the incident.
