Episode 19 recap: Lin Shunqin rescued Lin Cangwu.

The Crown Prince came to see Yin Ruoshui. His subordinates hurriedly reported that someone had raided the prison and rescued Lin Cangwu. The Crown Prince gestured to stop the pursuit and looked at Yin Ruoshui, asking if she was satisfied. Yin Ruoshui breathed a sigh of relief and asked if the Crown Prince would no longer blame Lin Cangwu. The Crown Prince said he never intended to kill him, he was just angry that Lin Cangwu hid his Crown Princess and treated her as Lin's wife.

Lin Cangwu was rescued by Lin's Lady Qin and returned to the Lin residence. He expressed his gratitude to his sister. However, Lin Shunqin told him that all of this was arranged by Yin Ruoshui. Lin Shunqin said she wanted to leave the Lin residence because she had witnessed Cold Autumn falling into the river but didn't save her, causing Lin Cangwu to fall seriously ill and lose his memory. Now, with Yin Ruoshui's appearance, Lin Cangwu could finally recover, but Lin Shunqin wanted to kill her.

Therefore, she felt ashamed to stay. Lin Cangwu pleaded with her not to leave, as the Lin residence would always need her. This made Lin Shunqin finally smile. Yin Ruoshui's mother and Yin Ruoshui were talking when the Crown Prince came over to greet them. Yin Ruoshui's mother thanked the Crown Prince for taking care of Yin Ruoshui. The Crown Prince felt guilty and said that he also had times when he couldn't control himself. Yin Ruoshui was tending to flowers and plants when the Crown Prince asked her to accompany him for a walk. The two of them strolled through the bustling streets like an ordinary couple, enjoying their own happiness.

General Nangong came to the Crown Prince to request provisions, saying that they were needed for the ongoing war. The Crown Prince calmly remarked that while they claimed it was for war, they had been exploiting and embezzling from the people. He questioned who had the audacity to do such a thing. General Nangong said he would investigate. Now that the Southern Frontier had reclaimed the occupied territories, there was no need for further war unless it was an act of aggression.
