Episode 2 recap: Yin Ruoshui escaped from the palace.

Yin Ruoshui was locked up in a cold and damp dungeon, where two guards tormented her in various ways. However, upon seeing her as a weak woman, they inadvertently relaxed their guard. Yin Ruoshui swore to escape from there. When the guards were not paying attention, she slowly dug a tunnel using her brother's token. One day, while one guard went to eat, the remaining guard had sinister intentions towards Yin Ruoshui. Taking advantage of his proximity, Yin Ruoshui exerted all her strength and used the hard token to stab him to death.

Just as the prince arrived to inspect, Yin Ruoshui quickly escaped from the opened tunnel and made her way towards the back mountain. She struggled to climb out and arrived deep in the dense forest. Upon learning of Yin Ruoshui's escape, the prince became furious. Hearing that the guards had previously insulted and tortured Yin Ruoshui, his anger consumed him, and he directly drew his sword and killed the guard.

The prince ordered his subordinates to find Yin Ruoshui at all costs, but he wanted her alive. His men followed the underground passage, and Yin Ruoshui, due to her weak body, couldn't move quickly and was about to be caught up by the pursuers. She would rather die than return to the harem of the Southern Border Country. Thus, with no other choice and facing a sheer cliff, Yin Ruoshui leaped off without hesitation.

When the prince arrived shortly after, all he saw were the bloodstains left by Yin Ruoshui on the ground, along with the token he had once given her.
