Episode 21 recap: Yin Ruoshui and Nangong Xi perished together.

The Crown Prince woke up in the middle of the night and found Yin Ruoshui missing from his side. He searched around desperately and heard the sound of a flute coming from outside the room. He hurriedly went out to investigate and discovered that it was Nangong Chao playing the flute, while Yin Ruoshui was being held at knifepoint by Nangong Xi. Upon seeing the Crown Prince, Nangong Chao coldly remarked that he didn't expect the Crown Prince to be so good at acting, truly falling in love with the enemy's princess. He dared to throw his own sister into the dungeon for her sake, betraying Nangong Chao's years of support.

Nangong Chao told the Crown Prince that if he agreed to kill Yin Ruoshui and promised to make Nangong Xi his princess, with their son becoming the Crown Prince, then Nangong Chao would pretend nothing had happened that day. After a moment of silence, the Crown Prince firmly replied, "It's impossible!" Angrily, Nangong Xi declared that she, and only she, could be the Crown Prince's princess. If he didn't agree, then no one would leave this place alive today.

Yin Ruoshui looked at the Crown Prince affectionately and said, in her heart, the Crown Prince had always been the young man she once saved. After speaking, Yin Ruoshui suddenly grabbed Nangong Xi and jumped off the building. Nangong Xi fell to her death, and the Crown Prince grabbed Yin Ruoshui and pulled her up with all his strength. Upon witnessing his sister's tragic death, Nangong Chao became both angry and agitated. He ordered his soldiers to attack Yin Ruoshui, but the Crown Prince swiftly threw himself in front of her, using his body to shield her.
