Episode 5 recap: The Crown Prince suspected that Qin Ruoyao was Yin Ruoshui.
In order to make a medicinal soup to treat the plague, Yin Ruoshui went to the river to gather herbs. Lin Cangwu saw ordinary plants in Yin Ruoshui's hands transform into medicinal ingredients for saving lives, and couldn't help but feel respect for her. Miss Lin asked about Yin Ruoshui's background, but Yin Ruoshui hesitated and didn't know how to answer. Seeing this, Lin Cangwu broke the awkward silence and continued to gather herbs with Yin Ruoshui.

The Crown Prince's suspicion of Yin Ruoshui was not dispelled. In order to uncover the truth, he decided to stay at Lin Manor. Yin Ruoshui became even more uneasy. When Lin Cangwu and Yin Ruoshui were alone, he directly asked if there was any connection between her and the Crown Prince. Unable to hide it any longer, Yin Ruoshui had to reveal her true identity. Lin Cangwu was determined to help protect Yin Ruoshui's secret and prevent her from being harmed again.
