Episode 30 recap: Jin Ying Jie discovered that Wang De Cai was privately colluding with Gao Da Chu, a renowned chef.
On Wang De Cai's side, he was in the office sharing his joy with Lao Liu and Lao Zhang about tarnishing Hao Yun Lai's reputation in society, openly stating that it was all in revenge for the humiliation Hao Yun Lai caused them during the board meeting. Jin Ying Jie was observing this from the doorway and later called Hao Xin, who expressed that this matter might be related to the incident of someone sabotaging the Gourmet Show.
On Jin Ying Jie's side, she noticed Wang De Cai having a lively conversation with Lao Zhang and Lao Liu, suspecting it had something to do with the Gourmet Show. She then called Hao Xin, who informed her about the poisoning incident targeting the Gourmet Show and instructed her to stay safe. After the conversation, Hao Xin asked Jin Ying Jie to keep an eye on Hai Yun.
Wang De Cai, Lao Zhang, and Lao Liu were curious about the outcome of the Gourmet Show. Gao Da Chu then decided to go in and assess the situation, informing Zhao Han Han that if he didn't come out within an hour, she should report it to the police.
Gao Da Chu entered Hai Yun Fashion, and upon seeing him, Jin Ying Jie quickly hid as she had met Gao Da Chu before and couldn't risk exposing herself. Gao Da Chu successfully met Wang De Cai, which startled Wang De Cai. Meanwhile, Jin Ying Jie called Hao Xin, but she couldn't get too close and had to rely on the voice recorder for hope. Gao Da Chu excitedly shared his actions with Wang De Cai, who became alarmed upon hearing that Gao Da Chu's apprentice had escaped. Wang De Cai realized the seriousness of the situation and that an investigation could be imminent. He wanted Gao Da Chu and his associates to go into hiding. However, Gao Da Chu expressed that he didn't have any money. Wang De Cai then took out ten thousand yuan from his bag and gave it to Gao Da Chu. He specifically instructed Gao Da Chu not to take trains, planes, or use fake documents, but instead to quickly leave the city by car. After Gao Da Chu left, Wang De Cai concluded that he also needed to go into hiding and asked Lao Liu and Lao Zhang to call him if there was any news.
Hao Xin, Hao Yun Lai, and Lawyer Zhao analyzed the entire incident of the Gourmet Show. Wang De Cai lamented that the situation had escalated too much, and now they could only hope that no one would die. Reporter Liu remained silent, leading Wang De Cai to suspect that he might have betrayed them. However, there was no direct evidence linking Wang De Cai to the Gourmet Show. It was late at night, and Jin Ying Jie hadn't left yet. Liu Min was happy, thinking that Jin Ying Jie was waiting for her.
Jin Yuan Bao blamed herself for the Gourmet Show incident and vowed to do better if they were to have their own show in the future. Fu Gui Hua appeared and assured Jin Yuan Bao that nobody would make her leave. Fu Gui Hua encouraged Jin Yuan Bao to keep busy and explore new dishes during her free time. Fu Gui Hua also uplifted the staff, urging them to regain their spirits and face the customers with full energy once they reopened. Hao Xin and Hao Yun Lai believed that the Gourmet Show was an attempt to destroy Hao Yun Lai Fashion, so they needed to focus on both fashion design and the show. Lawyer Zhao stated that they were waiting for evidence from Jin Ying Jie. Hao Xin mentioned that Jin Ying Jie would come after work, but it should be soon. However, Jin Ying Jie was delayed by Liu Min, who prevented her from leaving. Thankfully, Jin Ying Jie managed to come up with an excuse that her mother was sick, which made Liu Min anxious to accompany her. Eventually, Jin Ying Jie was allowed to leave.
On Wang De Cai's side, he went to Yang Chun Hong to explain the situation regarding the Gourmet Show. However, Yang Chun Hong suggested that Wang De Cai report Gao Da Chu instead.
