The video fully explained the causes and consequences of this farce, revealing it to be Wang De Cai's scheme. Wang De Cai, still refusing to admit defeat, claimed that he had explicit photos of Hao Yun Lai and his secretary and was about to show them to everyone. However, he discovered that there was nothing in his phone. Wang De Cai recalled the incident when Marriott said they would share the video with him and realized that it must have been deleted at that moment. But it was too late for Wang De Cai to realize this. Finally, Hao Yun Lai announced the start of the vote, and unsurprisingly, Hao Xin was elected unanimously.
On the other side, Marriott was extremely anxious and tried calling Hao Xin, but his phone was switched off, and nobody could reach him. Marriott was very worried. Upon hearing this, Hao Yun Lai knew it was directed at him and confirmed the recruitment date. Jin Ying Jie felt empty inside upon hearing the news, as she had encountered workplace gender discrimination many times before. This time, Jin Ying Jie was determined to give it one last try. Hao Yun Lai returned to his office feeling down, while Fu Gui Hua was quite happy since Hao Xin would be working there in the future. He also demanded that Hao Yun Lai start cooking dinner at home and avoid all socializing. Hao Yun Lai was reluctant internally but couldn't resist, as he knew he was at fault. Hao Xin finally finished and went to find Marriott, but the things he brought were meager, and Marriott was very disdainful. Hao Xin couldn't help but remember how humble his life had been overseas. Meanwhile, Fu Gui Hua and Ying Chun were discussing matchmaking Hao Xin and Li Li Li.
