Episode 3 recap: Liu Guoning said he wants to run for class monitor.

When Tang Dou came out, he found that his mother was still awake and worrying about the school uniform. At that moment, Tang Dou thought of borrowing from Liu Guoning. Tang Xiaowei thought it made sense, so she quickly went to find Liu Xiangshang. Liu Xiangshang readily lent Tang Xiaowei the school uniform that her son was not wearing. This scene happened to be seen by Dai Jing, who felt a bit jealous seeing Tang Xiaowei looking so beautiful.

Tang Xiaowei was still sewing clothes for her son when Tang Dou came out, blaming himself for his fans canceling their orders. Tang Xiaowei thought her son was sensible and comforted him. Jing Tingting was still worried about wearing the school uniform for the first day of junior high. Her husband advised her not to worry, as it was the school's responsibility. Late at night, Tang Xiaowei's ex-husband called her while drunk, wanting to join their son's parent group, but ended up being scolded by Tang Xiaowei.

The next morning, Liu Xiangshang was ready to start working when Jing Tingting came to find him. It turned out that she was worried because their child would be standing at the back during the flag-raising ceremony, and other parents were also complaining about their children being in the last row. Some parents were complaining in a parent group without a homeroom teacher, and some even felt they should complain to the manufacturer.

In the end, Jing Tingting decided to have custom-made school uniforms to ensure that their child would wear them as soon as possible, no matter the cost. When Dai Jing returned home, she asked Liu Guobao what he learned at school today, but it turned out that he didn't learn anything at school today, and English was no longer his main subject. On the other hand, Liu Guoning had endless homework to do every day, and Dai Jing began to worry that without developing good habits, their children would face greater difficulties in their studies in the future.

Meanwhile, Teacher Wang was still adjusting the seats for the children in the class. Since she couldn't handle it alone, she asked in the parent group if anyone was available to come and help. Many parents immediately offered to come over, but Jing Tingting said she couldn't and suggested hiring a worker instead, which led to some criticism from other parents.

When the grade director learned that Teacher Wang had called parents to help, she told her that parent groups were actually the most difficult to deal with, and as a homeroom teacher, she not only had to take care of about thirty students but also deal with more parents. Teacher Wang was about to tell everyone not to come, but the parents had already arrived at the door. Grade director Chen comforted Teacher Zhang and considered it as the first interaction among parents.

The children were also discussing what happened in the parent group. Tang Dou saw the message first and shared it with Liu Guobao and the student in the first year of junior high. Liu Guoning couldn't answer some of the questions, so they added the older brother of the first-year student to the group.

Fifteen explained to them, but only Liu Guoning heard. Liu Xiangshang went to the bedroom to tell his wife that the children's thinking was more insightful than the parents'. The homeroom teacher's intention was simple, but because the parents overcomplicated things, some matters had become distorted.

Liu Guoning came over and said that they were the only ones in the class who didn't participate in the "Seedling Protection Team," which was a group of volunteers who helped students cross the road in front of the school every day. Liu Xiangshang had no choice but to agree and even demanded that they wake up at 7 a.m. Liu Xiangshang reluctantly agreed. On the weekend morning, they had breakfast together, and Liu Guoning mentioned that he planned to run for class monitor. Liu Guobao also said that the class would be electing a class monitor. Their parents thought they were both running for class monitor, but Liu Guobao clarified that he only wanted to be the sports committee member because he was the fastest runner.

Ma Yingjie sent messages to Tang Dou every day, and Tang Xiaowei had no choice but to add Ma Yingjie to the group. Liu Guoning also called Fifteen, hoping he could help translate his speech into English, and Fifteen readily agreed. Fifteen sent a message to Jing Tiantian, saying that he wouldn't go back. Jing Tiantian, as his stepmother, wanted to take care of Fifteen, but he remained indifferent in his speech.

First-year student wanted to run for the position of art class representative, but because of his introverted personality, he asked Jing Tiantian for help, which she declined. Liu Guoning showed his speech to Liu Xiangshang for a quick review, and both Liu Xiangshang and Dai Jing said it was excellent and didn't need any modifications. Liu Guoning gained confidence. While Liu Xiangshang was working, he received a call from Gao Yuxuan's mother in the parent group, who wanted him to campaign to become the parent committee representative.

Soon, other parents in the group started bringing up their own educational backgrounds as a prelude. Liu Xiangshang just listened to the parents' speeches without making any replies.
