Episode 7 recap: Meng Xiaodong came to find Lin Yiyang.
Meng Xiaodong went abroad to find Yin Guo, and as soon as they met, he asked about the whereabouts of Lin Yiyang. Yin Guo was shocked and didn't know how Meng Xiaodong found out that they were together with Lin Yiyang. Meng Xiaodong asked his younger brother to send a message to Lin Yiyang, asking him to come back and meet up quickly. Yin Guo was worried that the two would fight when they met. Lin Yiyang was having dinner with two close friends, and during the meal, Lin Yiyang asked if either of them wanted to go back to the past. Both friends agreed that they should achieve something before going back to find familiar people. Lin Yiyang also realized that he shouldn't just think about today and not consider tomorrow, but should think more about his future.
Because Yin Guo's coach and teammates were also participating in a competition, Yin Guo planned to move and live with them. When the owner of the Chinese restaurant where Lin Yiyang met Yin Guo learned that Yin Guo was moving, he also worried about how Lin Yiyang and Yin Guo would develop in the future. Just as Yin Guo was chatting with the owner, Lin Yiyang sent a message saying that he was coming to find Yin Guo. Yin Guo was ready to go home and wait, but on the way back, he suddenly saw his older brother, which surprised Yin Guo. What Yin Guo did not expect was that Meng Xiaodong came to find Lin Yiyang.
Lin Yiyang asked Meng Xiaotian to ask when he would come back. Yin Guo was worried that the two would fight when they met and wanted to cover for Lin Yiyang. However, Lin Yiyang replied with a message saying that he had already arrived downstairs.
Meng Xiaodong unbuttoned his clothes, and Yin Guo was worried that the two would really fight after they met. He even gestured to Meng Xiaotian to help intervene. Lin Yiyang entered the room, and both Yin Guo and the others looked worried. After Lin Yiyang and Meng Xiaodong met, they calmly looked at each other and spoke in a confrontational tone. Sensing that the atmosphere was not right, Meng Xiaodong quickly found an excuse to escape and returned to his own room. Yin Guo was worried that they might fight later and felt that he alone might not be able to stop them. Both Yin Guo and Meng Xiaotian wanted Meng Xiaotian to go out with them and help calm the situation.
When Yin Guo opened the door again, Lin Yiyang asked him to close the door, and only Lin Yiyang and Meng Xiaodong remained in the living room.
Meng Xiaodong wanted Lin Yiyang to continue playing billiards, but Lin Yiyang was unwilling to talk about anything related to billiards. In the end, they shifted the conversation to Yin Guo. Lin Yiyang openly admitted that he liked Yin Guo. Meng Xiaodong invited Lin Yiyang to play billiards together, wanting to challenge him.
When Yin Guo saw his brother leave, he quickly returned to ask if Lin Yiyang was being troubled. When Lin Yiyang came back again, he was wearing the clothes he used to wear when playing billiards, which shocked Yin Guo. Lin Yiyang and Meng Xiaodong went to the billiards hall to play, and people inside recognized Meng Xiaodong as the world champion of snooker. Everyone was excited to watch the match between the world champion and Lin Yiyang. Yin Guo also came to watch the match between Lin Yiyang and her brother.
The match between the two was very exciting, and applause could be heard from time to time. In the end, Lin Yiyang won the game. Meng Xiaodong called Yin Guo out and encouraged her to be bold and be with Lin Yiyang. He also hoped that she could persuade Lin Yiyang to return to the professional circuit because of his exceptional talent. Meng Xiaodong didn't want Lin Yiyang to be buried like that.
After leaving the billiards hall, Lin Yiyang met Yin Guo, and they looked at each other, both feeling a mutual affection. However, Yin Guo hesitated to break the ambiguous atmosphere. Lin Yiyang took Yin Guo to a fast-food restaurant, but there was a misunderstanding, and he ordered a dish that Yin Guo didn't like, egg noodles. However, he couldn't say anything and had to eat it reluctantly.
In the evening, when Lin Yiyang and Yin Guo returned to the rented house, Meng Xiaotian and Wu Wei were preparing dinner. Lin Yiyang sat down and joined everyone for the meal. Yin Guo's coach called, and Yin Guo went to answer the phone. Wu Wei deliberately asked Meng Xiaotian in front of Lin Yiyang if Yin Guo had any suitors. Meng Xiaotian calmly told them that Yin Guo had many suitors, including a potential fiancé. Lin Yiyang felt a pang of jealousy upon hearing this.
