Episode 3 recap: In early summer, Chun Xia infiltrated the Shangguan household as a maid.
Chun Xia was brought to the Shangguan household, but everything here felt unfamiliar to her. Butler Liu brought Chun Xia inside, and now she could only enter as a servant. This time, she had to rely on herself to find clues about what happened in the past. As soon as the butler left, Shangguan Chuxue came down from upstairs and mocked Chun Xia.
To Chun Xia's surprise, she quickly figured out Chuxue's intentions and even discovered that Chuxue was planning to go skiing based on some small details. This impressed Chuxue, who then informed Butler Liu to have Chuxue take care of Chun Xia's daily needs. However, Chun Xia actually wanted to go upstairs to investigate for evidence. During the day, there were too many people around, and she had no opportunity at all.
It wasn't until evening that Chun Xia seized the chance to go upstairs under the pretense of delivering drinks. She made her way to her father Shangguan Xiao's room. Little did she know, Mr. Chi had been following closely behind and inquired about Chun Xia's true intentions. Mr. Chi was captivated by Chun Xia's beauty and even attempted to take advantage of her. However, Chun Xia kicked him in the groin and managed to escape.
Frustrated by his failure to find Chun Xia, Mr. Chi was filled with anger. To avoid drawing attention, he temporarily left. Chun Xia had already hidden herself and, when she appeared again in her parents' former room, she noticed Mr. Chi's phone had accidentally fallen to the ground. Perhaps Mr. Chi's phone held some undisclosed secrets.
