Episode 18 recap: Su Yan and Yu Wen Ying Ren drank together.
Yu Wen Ying Ren asked Su Yan if he had come to a realization. Su Yan replied that he had made up his mind and would stay by Yu Wen Ying Ren's side for the rest of his life, not going anywhere else. Su Yan said that by drinking this glass of wine, they would start anew. Yu Wen Ying Ren mentioned that Su Yan knew that he never tested the things he sent, so there was no need to worry about poison.
When Yu Wen Ying Ren saw Su Yan, he was very happy and said that Su Yan finally agreed to come and see him. Yu Wen Ying Ren asked if Su Yan had come to a realization and if he was willing to give him all the good things in the world. He said that he would only have Su Yan as his queen and would love her for the rest of his life, taking her to see the vast mountains and rivers.
Su Yan stated that he had made up his mind and would stay by Yu Wen Ying Ren's side for the rest of his life, not going anywhere else. Yu Wen Ying Ren was delighted to hear this and asked if Su Yan was serious. Su Yan brought two glasses of wine and said that by drinking this glass, they would start anew.
Su Yan mentioned that they hadn't drunk the wedding wine together before. Yu Wen Ying Ren said that Su Yan knew he never tested the things he sent. Su Yan and Yu Wen Ying Ren drank the wine. Su Yan coughed up blood and wondered if his sister had felt the same pain.
Yu Wen Ying Ren also coughed up blood and fell to the ground. Su Yan saw Yu Wen Yuan and said that if there was a next life, he wouldn't seek Yu Wen Yuan again. He only hoped that Yu Wen Yuan would be safe and not be burdened by him anymore.
Yu Wen Ying Ren intended to give Su Yan the antidote but it was too late. Yu Wen Yuan felt that he only wanted to protect Su Yan. If he wasn't there, what would Su Yan do? Yu Wen Yuan was originally with Su Yan but then disappeared.
