I can't stand the female lead's delicate and fake innocent appearance. She's the epitome of a self-proclaimed virtuous and innocent character, but she chose this path herself and yet pretends to be helpless. The female lead's sister uses her, the second male lead uses her, and even the male lead is manipulated by her. But the male lead remains devoted to her. In the first few episodes, I didn't see any love from the female lead towards the male lead, only caution and wariness. Suddenly, she starts showing admiration later on, and in the end, she ends up causing the death of the male lead. It's truly hypocritical and disgusting.

I never expected to give a five-star rating to a short drama as the first of the year. This show completely outshines many big-budget TV dramas with its handsome male lead and beautiful female lead! Li Fei, you are truly the chosen one for historical costume dramas. This isn't just your comfort zone; it's your realm of dominance. I never thought I'd become a fan of a male lead from a short drama, but Li Fei's face carries hints of Zhang Zilu and Gong Jun, yet he surpasses them in terms of handsomeness. And most importantly, he has acting skills! Entertainment directors and producers, open your eyes and see. Doesn't an actor like him deserve a chance to shine? He's solid and talented in his performances, and he's definitely the next top male lead in my book.

It's hard to see the female lead's unwavering love for the male lead; her actions don't make sense. It seems like she loves her sister more than the male lead. Her sister is also someone driven by romantic desires, willing to scheme against her younger sister for the Emperor. Li Fei is so handsome, and there are some beautiful scenes, but the plot this time was wasted. The "happily ever after" is completely gone. The last two episodes can't even be considered as bonus content; they just switched up the narrative order. The director even mentioned a "he" ending. Is this a scam? ????♀️

The profile of the female lead resembles Wu Xuanyi, while her frontal face looks a bit like Zhu Xudan. And in the closing shots, she's edited to look like Yang Chaoyue. It's a highly versatile face. The female lead's acting skills are better than the male lead, but the plot is garbage despite some good comedic elements. The most watchable aspect is indeed the kissing scenes.

Could it be because I read the novel first and had my own vision of the scenes? When watching it, I found it unusually awkward. Maybe it's one of Li Fei's more mediocre performances compared to his other dramas. He appeared even more wooden in this one than in "Night after Night." That second male lead, the emperor, is really overexaggerated. It hurts my eyes. He should trim down the flesh on his face. When the female lead cries, it really matches the portrayal in the novel.

Although the plot is like a combination of classic scenes with a dual-death and a happy ending, followed by two extra episodes, it's acceptable for a short drama. The performances of the male and female leads are both very good. Li Fei looks handsome in ancient costumes! I hope they will film more period dramas in the future! Plus, the crying scenes are beautifully done by Jia Jia! Looking forward to their collaboration again, haha. The deduction of one point in the end is due to some issues with the plot transitions, which might be attributed to the nature of a short drama. It couldn't provide as clear explanations as a long drama would.

First time watching this kind of web mini-drama, and I finished it on fast forward in just one evening. Well, how should I put it? Even though this drama is cheesy, has logical flaws, and the actors occasionally disconnect from their characters, and I don't like the love interest, but mindlessly watching this brainless drama is surprisingly enjoyable. Especially in Episode 5, when outside the door is the impatient Green Tea Emperor wanting to come in, while inside the door, the male lead kisses the female lead and says "Let him roll," that scene was so satisfying to watch (the male lead is really good at kissing). It has that nostalgic, forcefully romantic vibe. Also, the male lead is really handsome, and his rugged makeup adds a broken feel. He seems like a perfect fit for historical dramas, much more handsome than many other male leads in historical dramas (such as "Yi Nian Guan Shan"). Any investors interested in checking this out?

Yu Wen Yuan is so handsome! Although the plot is average, it's still enjoyable even when watching at double speed. The actors seem to be putting in some effort, but the leading lady's appearance is not consistently stable. However, I can't resist how good-looking the male lead is, haha. Emperor Yu Wen Ying Ren is also decent, although the visible glue and seams on the headpiece are a bit distracting.
The CEO's literary skills are impressive, and he shines as a charmer. The archer waiting there for them to finish their lines is also quite challenging and requires a lot of patience.

To be honest, I thought the first 13 episodes or so were pretty good, except for the poor acting skills of the female lead and the unattractiveness of the second male lead. I highly recommend it up until that point.
But did the writer and director lose their minds later on? What's with the female lead? It's like a combination of Wu Xuanyi and Yang Chaoyue. Their acting skills are equally terrible. I don't even want to talk about the later plot. I'm going crazy after watching over four hours of this.

Wow, you screenwriters who kill off the entire cast, do you think you're so clever? Look at the context, bro, this is a miniseries! It's not auspicious at all to kill off a bunch of characters with your overactive imagination!
After reading the original work, I'm even more frustrated. Ugh, just let the emperor die, I hate it! (But the male and female leads do look good, so I'll give it three stars.)

When watching a short drama, I don't expect perfect logic, but the plot shouldn't be too shallow either. Of course, the ambiguous atmosphere between the main characters is enjoyable. The best moments of the entire drama are the intense scenes between the main couple and the second male lead, both inside and outside the room, and the heartfelt confessions between the male lead and the female lead before his death, as well as their heartbreaking farewell kiss. But what was the meaning behind the last two episodes written by the screenwriter? And why did the main couple not die together? I can't accept the female lead dying together with the second male lead!

2.18, who told me it was good... The plot is cliché, the acting is average, and I'm even having trouble getting into it. The only redeeming factor is that the male and female leads are quite good-looking with great visuals.
The director defined a new type of "he" (referring to a romantic relationship) online, and I was actually looking forward to seeing how it would unfold in the last two episodes. However, the final two episodes turned out to be a disappointment. It would have been better to place those episodes at the beginning and edit them to make the story flow more smoothly... It feels like a pure scam.
And the character of the female lead's sister is pure madness, a completely nonsensical character design.

I really didn't know what to watch, so I clicked on this short drama. Both the male and female leads are good-looking, but the plot feels like it's playing with soft erotica. The character designs are also pushing the boundaries of morality and skirting the line of censorship. It all feels like it was created to cater to certain sexual fetishes, and it triggered my masochistic tendencies... I watched seven episodes and quickly gave up. I probably won't continue watching it. I can handle intense and realistic storylines, but I don't allow myself to indulge in borderline content... As for the If it's meant to satisfy sexual fetishes, then why not be open and explicit about it (like in "Kinn Porsche")? I find it annoying when things are cryptic and skirt the line (like in this drama).
