Episode 1 recap: Running for Class President.
Wang Yutian and Yang Defu are both students at Evergreen Ivy University. One day, the teacher announced that there would be a class president election. Wang Yutian immediately hinted to her followers to vote for her. Just as she was expressing her determination to serve her classmates, Yang Defu took the opportunity and expressed her desire to compete for the position of class president as well. This surprised Wang Yutian, as she didn't want to lose the chance to become class president. After school, she arranged to talk to Yang Defu, subtly reminding her that she might not be capable of the role. However, Yang Defu refused to back down and was determined to compete.
In order to gain votes, Wang Yutian and Yang Defu started competing by giving out eggs, and eventually escalated to giving out microwave ovens and water heaters. They continued until they couldn't afford to give any more gifts. At this point, someone seized the opportunity and targeted the loyal followers of Wang Yutian and Yang Defu, trying to persuade them to support themselves instead. Wang Yutian and Yang Defu suspected each other of playing tricks, and they developed a mutual resentment. It was only on the day of the election that they realized something was wrong.
It turned out that the woman from the Pineapple Neighborhood, who wanted to reap the benefits without putting in much effort, made an impressive entrance. The teacher then handed out the ballots, and everyone voted anonymously, with each person having only one vote. The woman from the Pineapple Neighborhood was confident of her victory but was surprised by the unexpected result. She lost by a single vote, and Wang Yutian became the class president.
It was revealed that Yang Defu noticed something was amiss and decided to vote for Wang Yutian, leading to the reconciliation of the two sisters.
