Episode 2 recap: Wen Yunong is injured.
Wen Yunong came to find Qin Kewen and expressed that he doesn't have any special skills; the only advantage he has is his good looks, which is why he was sent over as a gift. He also mentioned that he was sent to Qin Kewen's father, and Qin Kewen himself couldn't make the decision. Qin Kewen mentioned that his father is in the hospital and that he has the final say in this family. Suddenly, Wen Yunong approached Qin Kewen closely and asked him to either kill him or let him stay.
Qin Kewen didn't kill Wen Yunong but said that they would decide once his father returns. That night, Qin Kewen had a dream where he kissed Wen Yunong, but Wen Yunong took out a gun and shot him. Qin Kewen woke up hearing Wen Yunong playing the violin outside. Wen Yunong mentioned that he needed to have some talent to please his guests.
While Wen Yunong was drinking, Qin Kewen told him that red wine is not meant to be consumed that way. Wen Yunong asked Qin Kewen to teach him, and they ended up drinking a lot. The next day, Qin Kewen woke up and found himself lying in bed with Wen Yunong, which shocked him. Qin Kewen wanted to leave, but Wen Yunong took something he made and wanted Qin Kewen to take it with him. Someone came to assassinate them, and Wen Yunong took a knife for Qin Kewen. Qin Kewen was very worried and quickly asked someone to call a doctor.
Qin Kewen fed medicine to Wen Yunong, and his subordinates mentioned that the general's injury was healed and asked Qin Kewen to go and meet him. In reality, the assassin was arranged by Wen Yunong, who took the opportunity to obtain the key.
