Episode 4 recap: Wen Yulong carried out the mission.
When Wen Yulong woke up, he was taken back by Mr. Wu. Mr. Wu said they received the news too late and only managed to rescue Wen Yulong. Wen Yulong didn't know why they encountered these troubles, and Mr. Wu said it was because of the jade pendant. Wen Yulong then realized that the jade pendant was missing and thought it might have been lost nearby.
Mr. Wu said he had already sent someone to look for it but had not found it. He also said he would properly train Qin Kewen and make her a qualified intelligence agent. Four years passed quickly, and Wen Yulong went to find the Prime Minister's son to complete the mission. After completing it, he broke up with the Prime Minister's son, saying that he would have a better future and that his father would not approve of them being together, so it was better for him to leave.
Wen Yulong met with Mr. Wu and said that the matter on the Prime Minister's side had been resolved. Mr. Wu gave Wen Yulong information about Qin Boyang and said that Qin Boyang had married someone who looked very much like Wen Yulong, named Song Yuer. Wen Yulong admitted that she indeed had a twin sister who got lost when they were young. Mr. Wu asked Wen Yulong to impersonate Song Yuer, as Wen Yulong's jade pendant was with Qin Boyang, and he wanted her to seize the opportunity to retrieve it.
Qin Kewen remembered Wen Yulong and said she would definitely catch her.
