Episode 8 recap: Qin Ke heard that Wen Yunong was discovered.
Lu Xiangxue came to Qin Boyang's mother to lodge a complaint again. Wen Yunong wanted to deal with Qin Boyang's mother and secretly injured her with a slingshot. Qin Boyang's mother's leg was injured, and she had nowhere to go and was very irritable. Wen Yunong came to find Lu Xiangxue and questioned why she, a former celebrity, was now working as a stepmother here. Lu Xiangxue explained that she needed someone to rely on, but Wen Yunong believed that she should rely on herself.

Lu Xiangxue helped retrieve the key to the safe and gave it to Wen Yunong. Wen Yunong was about to leave when she unexpectedly encountered Qin Ke Wen. Qin Ke Wen asked what Wen Yunong had taken, and Wen Yunong approached him, casually putting the key into Qin Ke Wen's pocket.
Qin Ke Wen didn't see the key with Wen Yunong and was very surprised. Later that night, Wen Yunong entered Qin Boyang's study and obtained the jade pendant from the safe. Wen Yunong intended to leave, but Qin Ke Wen confronted her. Qin Ke Wen noticed the rose tattoo on Wen Yunong's body, and Wen Yunong took the opportunity to leave. Wen Yunong emerged from the bathroom, and Qin Ke Wen was waiting there.
Qin Ke Wen asked Wen Yunong to take off her clothes. Wen Yunong said that if she didn't have that tattoo, Qin Ke Wen wouldn't target her anymore. Qin Ke Wen agreed, and Wen Yunong took off her coat, revealing no tattoo, which surprised Qin Ke Wen. Wen Yunong had previously mentioned that the tattoo could be removed. Qin Boyang saw Qin Ke Wen coming out and hurried over.
Wen Yunong explained that Qin Ke Wen had misunderstood the situation.
