Wow, the visual feast in Episode 16 lasted for over 6 minutes, it was amazing! A man's teardrops of despair are the best beauty treatment! Oh boy, I felt like the male lead was going to break down at that moment. Female lead, please give him a hug! As the story progressed, the red scarf on the chest became even more vibrant. The main characters then embarked on an anti-Japanese journey. Oh my, how did they manage to elevate the values and themes? I initially thought it was just a cheesy romance drama, but in the end, they even portrayed patriotism. Well, considering the sincerity behind it, +1 star!

The plot is just too awkward and ridiculous, and the twists are also very forced. What is the male lead, Yishao Shuai, doing with all his free time? He's constantly revolving around the female lead, talking harshly but constantly groveling in his actions. He's repeatedly abandoned, and his pathetic behavior leaves people speechless. He's a textbook example of a dog-blood Mary Sue wrapped in the guise of the Republic of China era.
Furthermore, why does Dai Gao Zheng always play warlords in various short dramas, and why does he always play the morally ambiguous literature-loving lapdog of the young marshal? I used to think he was quite handsome, but now his face is getting more and more stiff, and his acting is excessively exaggerated and greasy. Every piece he's in, there's kissing, stripping, and showing off his physique in abundance. Dai Yan Ni is quite good-looking, though.
