Episode 15 recap: Meng Ming Wei tried to mend her relationship with Li Yi Jin.
After a night of quarreling with Meng Ming Wei, Li Yi Jin woke up in the morning and found Meng Ming Wei sleeping on the couch without a blanket. Unable to resist, she covered Meng Ming Wei with a blanket. Li Yi Jin covered her and talked about buying tickets, asking Meng Ming Wei to return to her hometown in the afternoon.
Li Yi Jin kept talking, but there was no response from Meng Ming Wei. It was then that she realized Meng Ming Wei had a fever. Li Yi Jin took Meng Ming Wei to the hospital and informed Meng Yi An to visit her. When Meng Yi An learned about the situation between Meng Ming Wei and Li Yi Jin, she scolded Meng Ming Wei for a few words.
After scolding Meng Ming Wei, Meng Yi An gave her some advice. She told Meng Ming Wei not to meddle too much in Li Yi Jin's affairs and let Li Yi Jin live her own life. She also encouraged Meng Ming Wei to live her own life.
While Meng Yi An was advising Meng Ming Wei, Qiao Hai Yun called. Meng Ming Wei didn't dare to let Qiao Hai Yun know she was sick, so she immediately got up to put on her coat. After Meng Ming Wei had a video call with Qiao Hai Yun, she noticed that Qiao Hai Yun had moved a potted plant from the balcony into the house, which made her very worried about Qiao Hai Yun's health. She repeatedly told Qiao Hai Yun not to move things anymore.
Professor Huang informed Tao Shu Na that she could intern in his aerospace project team. Tao Shu Na was particularly happy to hear this because she was about to submit her own thesis and she found out that Zhang Xiao Yan had already submitted it for her. Tao Shu Na knew that Zhang Xiao Yan had helped her secretly, so she went to thank him and apologized for blaming him last time.
Zheng Bin attended a classmate gathering alone and was bombarded with questions about him and Meng Wan Qing. During their school days, he had been pursuing Meng Wan Qing, and he had remained single since then. Everyone was speculating that he was waiting for Meng Wan Qing.
While Zheng Bin was explaining, Meng Wan Qing arrived, and everyone started asking about her situation and arranged their seating. The classmates asked Meng Wan Qing about her husband, and as she was trying to come up with an explanation, Tao Da Lei arrived at the gathering. Meng Wan Qing had no choice but to introduce Tao Da Lei to everyone.
After the classmate gathering, Meng Wan Qing drank a bit too much and finally couldn't pretend to be affectionate with Tao Da Lei anymore. Meng Wan Qing blamed Tao Da Lei and expressed her frustration. When she needed her husband, Tao Da Lei was not there. She pleaded with Tao Da Lei to let her go and give her freedom.
Tao Da Lei didn't expect Meng Wan Qing to be so determined to divorce him. He begged Meng Wan Qing, promising that he would change and asking her to give him another chance.
Meng Wan Qing didn't believe Tao Da Lei's words and disliked his current cowardly demeanor. She grumpily told Tao Da Lei to stay away from her.
After preparing breakfast in the morning, Meng Ming Wei went to the park and stopped bothering Li Yi Jin, making Li Yi Jin feel a bit uncomfortable. In the past, it was always Meng Ming Wei chasing after Li Yi Jin, bringing eggs to her workplace, but Li Yi Jin never agreed. Now, Li Yi Jin took the initiative to bring eggs and inform Meng Ming Wei about it.
Song Jun Fan knew that Meng Yi An wanted to do charity work, and coincidentally, Guo Xiao Wen excelled in that area. Guo Xiao Wen was also Meng Yi An's idol, so Song Jun Fan arranged a meeting between Meng Yi An and Guo Xiao Wen. Tao Shu Na received her internship ID card and happily went to find Zhang Xiao Yan. Meng Ming Wei had nothing to do at home, so she made a lot of wontons. While she was idle, she checked the weather and thought about messaging Li Yi Jin to remind her about dressing appropriately. But then she remembered Meng Yi An's words and immediately canceled the message. Tao Shu Na met with Li Yi Jin to discuss Meng Yi An's situation. Tao Shu Na believed that since Xiao Yao was wearing a ring, she and Qiu Xia might be getting married, which would make it impossible for Meng Yi An and Qiu Xia to reconcile, leaving Qiu Qiu without a complete family.
After analyzing the situation, Tao Shu Na and Li Yi Jin waited for Meng Yi An to arrive and informed her of the news. However, Meng Yi An remained calm and didn't seem to care at all. When Meng Ming Wei returned home, she coincidentally encountered a drunkard in the elevator. The drunkard, fueled by alcohol, tried to harass a girl on the third floor, but without hesitation, Meng Ming Wei used an object in her hand to hit the drunkard on the head, saving the girl.
When Li Yi Jin returned from work and learned that Meng Ming Wei had helped another girl fight off a drunkard, she immediately showed concern for Meng Ming Wei's well-being. They cooked wontons together, and it was a heartwarming scene that the two had never experienced before. Meng Ming Wei smiled happily.
Qiu Xia went to Meng Yi An's house to fix the lights in Qiu Qiu's room. Meng Yi An took this opportunity to remind Qiu Xia that she would have a new home, so Qiu Xia wouldn't need to bother coming to her place for repairs. With her mood improved, Meng Ming Wei video called Meng Wan Qing to learn about Qiao Hai Yun's situation and see if they could come up with a solution to take care of Qiao Hai Yun.
