Episode 31 recap: Li Yi Jin lobbied Li Cheng Zhi to agree to divorce Meng Ming Wei.
Song Jun Fan explained to Meng Yi An that he knew about the issues with the Xiaowen Fund because Meng Yi An wanted to collaborate with Guo Xiaowen, and he helped facilitate the connection for Meng Yi An. Song Jun Fan believed that even if Guo Xiaowen caused Meng Yi An to suffer losses, he would be there to support her and reassure Meng Yi An.
Meng Yi An inquired with Song Jun Fan about how he had helped Guo Xiaowen in a legal case before, and she realized that Song Jun Fan was prepared to let the sponsored party bear the brunt of the losses. Meng Yi An believed that her ideals did not align with Song Jun Fan's, so she directly proposed terminating the contract and finding a new lawyer to handle the company's legal affairs.
Song Jun Fan did not understand Meng Yi An's intentions and thought she was just angry. He tried to persuade Meng Yi An to let it go because this collaboration had already given her LeXue enough influence.

Feeling threatened by Li Yi Jin, Li Cheng Zhi immediately wanted to hit her, but Meng Ming Wei quickly stepped in to protect Li Yi Jin, preventing Li Cheng Zhi from taking action. However, he insisted on not divorcing. After arguing with Li Cheng Zhi, Li Yi Jin and Meng Ming Wei packed their things and prepared to move out of the house.
While packing, Li Yi Jin suddenly realized that the house belonged to Qiao Hai Yun, and it should be Li Cheng Zhi who should move out. Meng Ming Wei explained the issue of the house to Li Yi Jin, who then understood that Li Cheng Zhi cared a lot about the property. Therefore, she decided to use the house as a condition to negotiate the divorce with Li Cheng Zhi.
The next morning, Li Yi Jin went to the hospital to explain the situation to Qiao Hai Yun, who demanded to personally talk to Li Cheng Zhi. Qiao Hai Yun asked Li Yi Jin to bring Li Cheng Zhi to the hospital.
Zheng Bin couldn't convince Meng Wan Qing, so he followed her to the hospital to see Qiao Hai Yun, using work as an excuse to call Meng Wan Qing out. After Meng Wan Qing left the ward, Zheng Bin threatened Qiao Hai Yun by telling her the truth and forced Meng Wan Qing to go with him for an examination and to schedule the surgery.
Li Yi Jin went home and met Li Cheng Zhi, claiming that she had arranged the divorce but was scolded by Qiao Hai Yun. She made Li Cheng Zhi mistakenly believe that Qiao Hai Yun didn't agree to their divorce, tricking him into going to the hospital.
Li Cheng Zhi thought that Qiao Hai Yun didn't want them to divorce, so he saw an opportunity to negotiate with her. He happily went to the hospital. When Qiao Hai Yun saw Li Cheng Zhi, she spoke highly of him and even mentioned that the Meng family had married Meng Ming Wei to him as an improvement in social status.
Li Cheng Zhi, hearing Qiao Hai Yun's words, thought that she was pleading with him. He then proposed that Qiao Hai Yun put his name on the house and promised to live the rest of his life with Meng Ming Wei in exchange.
Li Cheng Zhi negotiated terms, but Qiao Hai Yun realized that he didn't understand her intentions. She had to be more direct and persuade Li Cheng Zhi to divorce and find another partner to spend his life with. Qiao Hai Yun presented her guarantee, stating that she could lend the house to Li Cheng Zhi without charge and even pay off his debts, on the condition that Li Cheng Zhi agreed to divorce Meng Ming Wei.
Qiao Hai Yun made it clear that if Li Cheng Zhi wanted to keep the house and clear his debts, he had to get a divorce. Otherwise, she would sell the house and kick him out. Li Cheng Zhi finally understood Qiao Hai Yun's attitude and realized that he had been deceived by Li Yi Jin into going to the hospital. He could only seek revenge from Li Yi Jin.
Li Yi Jin explained the situation to Li Cheng Zhi, emphasizing that the house belonged to Qiao Hai Yun. Li Cheng Zhi had to agree to Qiao Hai Yun's demands. As Li Cheng Zhi's daughter, Li Yi Jin promised to give him a monthly alimony of 2,000 yuan, but she insisted that Li Cheng Zhi must agree to the divorce.
Li Cheng Zhi refused to agree and even wanted Meng Ming Wei to contribute an additional 1,000 yuan. Li Yi Jin didn't agree and threatened to go through the legal process, leaving Li Cheng Zhi with nothing. Meng Wan Qing had her examination, and her condition wasn't good. She had to call Meng Yi An and ask her to come back.
Meng Yi An was in the process of litigation against Guo Xiaowen and was busy, so she didn't plan to return home. When Meng Wan Qing received Meng Yi An's call, she directly told her that she was busy and that Meng Ming Wei was causing trouble by seeking a divorce. Since there was no adult to take care of Qiao Hai Yun at the hospital, she urged Meng Yi An to come back.
