Xiaoxiang learned that she was being parasitized.Xiaoxiang prepared to find Zuo Yuan and encountered a friend who had been brought home by Zuo Yuan before. However, after seeing Xiaoxiang, the friend also called her Hai Qingyue. Xiaoxiang felt that everyone had conspired together to deceive her and advised against calling the police.
However, Xiaoxiang couldn't provide any evidence to prove her identity, so the police couldn't help. Early in the morning, Xiaoxiang woke up and found that her reflection in the mirror had completely changed. She wanted to find Zuo Yuan, but as soon as she stepped out of the door, she was stopped by the maid who even referred to her as Hai Qingyue. Xiaoxiang was unwilling and wanted to reclaim her identity, so she went to Zuo Yuan's company. However, people who had known her before also called her Hai Qingyue. Xiaoxiang stated her real name, but the people in the company seemed to have no recollection of that name. Seeing their denial, Xiaoxiang became anxious and believed that these people were all colluding with Zuo Yuan to deceive her.
Helpless, Xiaoxiang could only choose to report to the police. However, Xiaoxiang couldn't explain her background, and the police expressed their powerlessness because without Xiaoxiang, they couldn't find any information about her. Xiaoxiang silently walked out of the police station, unsure of what to do or how to prove herself. She noticed someone was following her and deliberately pretended not to know, shaking off the person tailing her. Then she went to find a guy named Luo Qiang, who had previously been searching for Hai Qingyue.
Luo Qiang took Xiaoxiang to a safe place and had known all along that everything happening to Xiaoxiang was Zuo Yuan's experiment. Xiaoxiang blamed Luo Qiang for not telling her in advance, but Luo Qiang also felt wrongly accused because if he had told her beforehand, Xiaoxiang wouldn't have believed it anyway. Luo Qiang informed Xiaoxiang that everything happening to her now was a result of Zuo Yuan's experiment. Xiaoxiang had been parasitized.
