Episode 18 recap: Jian Mo Ran wants to break up with Huo Jin Yan.
Huo Jin Yan questioned Jian Mo Ran, asking if she really liked Yi Cheng, that bastard. Jian Mo Ran coldly told him that who she liked had nothing to do with him. Seeing Jian Mo Ran's unreasonable behavior, Huo Jin Yan suddenly kissed her forcefully, but she pushed him away and slapped him. Yi Cheng ran over, pulled Jian Mo Ran aside, and reminded Huo Jin Yan that he and Jian Mo Ran had already broken up, telling him to have some self-respect.
After hearing Huo Jin Yan's words, Jian Mo Ran deliberately told General Wang that Yi Cheng was just a child adopted by their uncle, and they had no blood relation. Huo Jin Yan angrily told Jian Mo Ran that he would never agree to divorce her. As he said that, he tore up the divorce agreement and apologized to Jian Mo Ran for his impulsive actions earlier. However, Jian Mo Ran pushed him away and walked into the house.
