Episode 22 recap: Jian Yicheng proposed to Jian Moran.
Jian Yicheng held a bouquet of roses and approached Jian Moran. He affectionately told her that he had liked her since the day he saw her. As he spoke, he knelt down on one knee and presented a wedding ring to propose to Jian Moran. Seeing Jian Moran hesitating, Uncle Er, who was standing nearby, chimed in and said that since she had already broken up with Huo Jinyan, she should accept Yicheng's proposal.
Before Uncle Er's words could settle, Huo Jinyan suddenly walked in and asked who said they had broken up. Jian Moran helped Huo Jinyan take his measurements for a clothing design. When he noticed that she had been sitting for a while, he walked over and reminded her not to tire herself out. Jian Moran then put down her work and playfully asked Huo Jinyan for a hug. He lifted her up and carried her towards the bedroom.
While Jian Moran was at work, Ji Jie entered her office and informed her that Vanti had agreed to a secret collaboration between Yuni and Fuy. Just then, Jian Yicheng pushed the door open and walked in. Although Ji Jie quickly stopped talking, Jian Yicheng still overheard some of the conversation. He calmly told Jian Moran that there was a family gathering tonight and that he would investigate the secret collaboration between Yuni and Fuy after leaving her office.
Qin Zong arranged a meeting with someone, but unexpectedly, Huo Jinyan showed up. Huo Jinyan handed him a file and told him that he knew the whereabouts of the money, presenting a condition to him. Qin Zong accepted the file without asking about Huo Jinyan's condition and agreed directly. Jian Moran went to attend the gathering, and as soon as she arrived at the venue, Jian Yicheng approached her with a bouquet of roses. He told her that he had liked her since the day he saw her, and then he knelt down on one knee, presenting a wedding ring to propose to Jian Moran.
