Episode 13 recap: Wang Ruoyu and Li Tengfei are working as models here for a wedding photoshoot.
The photographer is feeling frustrated because they don't seem like a couple and the results are not turning out well. Wang Ruoyu approaches them and tells Li Tengfei to be more aggressive in his poses, demonstrating it herself. The photographer quickly resumes taking photos.
Now they have decided as a group to find models for a bridal photoshoot in the evening for promotional purposes. Li Tengfei reminds Yu Pengyue to sign contracts with the models early to prevent them from backing out, otherwise it would be unnecessary to sign later. Unexpectedly, when everything else is ready and they are about to shoot the wedding photos in the afternoon, all the models suddenly unite and demand a significant increase in their fees.
Yu Pengyue acknowledges that it was his fault for not considering things properly, but he doesn't have to agree to the models' demands. There are other ways to handle the situation. Wang Ruoyu's father also saw this photo and asked Yu Pengyue what was going on. Yu Pengyue explained that it was just a work photo, not a wedding photo. However, Wang Ruoyu's father didn't believe him at all. He felt that the way they looked at each other showed that they liked each other. How could there be no feelings at all? Yu Pengyue didn't believe it and thought that Wang Ruoyu always kept her distance from others. When Wang Ruoyu heard about this, she revealed her past experiences. She was afraid of getting hurt and hoped that Yu Pengyue would pursue her and help her open up her heart. In return, she would give her heart to Yu Pengyue.
Chen Husheng invited Li Tengfei out, and there were some women in the private room who wanted to play games with Li Tengfei. Li Tengfei felt that their clothes were not revealing enough and asked if they had other clothes. He told them to go change first. After the women left, Li Tengfei immediately closed the door. Chen Husheng approached and said he had known all along that these things would be useless for Li Tengfei. He admired Li Tengfei for staying calm in a crisis and being quick-witted.
Chen Husheng mentioned that he enjoyed interacting with young people and stated his conditions, asking if Li Tengfei was interested. Li Tengfei said it wasn't something he could decide on his own, and he needed to discuss it with everyone else. Ye Zhiqiu learned that their recent rental housing had been affected and asked the employees what had happened, only to find out that Yu Pengyue and the others had created this website. Feifei came over and asked Ye Zhiqiu what was going on. Ye Zhiqiu admitted that he had someone else outside and mentioned that Feifei had taken 100,000 from his bank account. He didn't report it to the police and considered it a favor to her.
Feifei explained that the 100,000 was the tuition fee Ye Zhiqiu promised for her younger brother. Ye Zhiqiu stated that he never promised her anything and that he wanted a woman instead. Ye Qiuqiu showed Feifei the website that Zhou Yan and the others were working on and suggested that instead of spending her efforts on him, she should try to deceive Zhou Yan back.
