Episode 14 recap: Qin Mengmeng harbors hostility towards Ji Lian Yun.
Ji Lian Yun realizes the danger and wants to escape, but Xue Zhi Hai, with the approval of Lady Xue, holds onto Ji Lian Yun and tries to take her away. Just as they reach the door, Xue Dong Feng, who senses that something is wrong, blocks their way with his men. Seeing the formidable firepower of Xue Dong Feng, Xue Zhi Hai can only reluctantly release Ji Lian Yun's hand.
Xue Dong Feng immediately announces that Ji Lian Yun is his fiancée, and from now on, Xue Zhi Hai is not allowed to set foot in the Xue family's residence. Xue Zhi Hai feels deeply humiliated, but he is no match for Xue Dong Feng and can only leave reluctantly.

An Nan is protecting Fang Changlin in the hospital. Unexpectedly, due to a careless mistake, Fang Changlin is killed by someone. An Nan quickly realizes what has happened and rushes to pursue the culprit.
