Episode 2 recap: Xue Dong Feng discovered that Ji Lian Yun was being followed.
Xue Dong Feng couldn't bring himself to shoot and instead pushed Ji Lian Yun away. He took off his own equipment and unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his grim wounds. Several times on the front lines, he was on the verge of death, but the belief that Ji Lian Yun would be devastated kept him alive.
Ji Lian Yun said that she was doing fine now, which hurt Xue Dong Feng deeply. He gave Ji Lian Yun an ultimatum: either choose death or become his woman. Ji Lian Yun cursed at Xue Dong Feng and managed to push him away, stating that she would rather die than accompany him in anything else. She reminded Xue Dong Feng to forget about their past and left the room.
Fang Fei saw the way Ji Lian Yun closed the door just now and already suspected that she had gotten involved with someone.
