Episode 24 recap: Evil deeds will be met with retribution.
After disguising herself, Ji Lian Yun went to meet with reporter Zhao. It was difficult for the two of them to finally meet, and Zhao claimed to be a friend of Xue Dong Feng. He promised to help no matter how dangerous the situation was. Ji Lian Yun was suspicious and asked about Zhao's plan, but she discovered that he hadn't considered how to accomplish the task at all. He was ready to leave after picking up a suitcase. However, Zhao had already betrayed her, and she was blocked by Xue Zhi Hai's men before she could leave the café.

Ji Lian Yun kissed Xue Dong Feng voluntarily and then left after saying goodbye. Xue Dong Feng worried about Ji Lian Yun's safety but couldn't stop her, so he could only be filled with anxiety. Ji Lian Yun went to negotiate with Commander Qin and demanded to exchange the evidence in her possession for Xue Dong Feng's life. Fortunately, Xue Dong Feng had made arrangements in advance and was rescued by A Nan in time. He led his troops to rescue Ji Lian Yun.
