Episode 1 recap: Chen Guihua and Yu Chun came to Gu Jia Hui's house.
Chen Guihua went to the temple to pray for a child because her son and daughter-in-law had been married for many years but had no children. The fortune teller told her that she didn't have much time left to live. Upon hearing this, she quickly returned home to pack her things and went to her son's house to hasten the birth. While Gu Jia Hui and Yu Jing were preparing to be intimate, Chen Guihua arrived at their house with her niece.
Her niece, Yu Chun, asked Chen Guihua to slow down, but Chen Guihua said there was no time to waste and that every second counted. Yu Jing asked Gu Jia Hui what Chen Guihua said on the phone, and Gu Jia Hui told her that she could go with whatever Chen Guihua said. He mentioned that he had already discussed everything with her. Yu Jing asked what they would do if Chen Guihua insisted on giving birth herself.
Gu Jia Hui reassured her not to worry, saying it wouldn't happen. Yu Chun and Chen Guihua arrived at Gu Jia Hui and Yu Jing's doorstep, but no one answered no matter how they knocked. Chen Guihua forcefully pulled the door open, and while Yu Jing was being intimate with Gu Jia Hui, she asked if he heard any noises.
Gu Jia Hui told her that he didn't hear anything, so Yu Chun suggested that Chen Guihua climb in through the window. However, Chen Guihua told her that only thieves would climb through the window and insisted on entering through the front door. Chen Guihua and Yu Chun started arranging the childbirth-related items and paintings they had prepared in the room. At this moment, Gu Jia Hui also heard a noise, and the two of them came out holding a fire extinguisher and sprayed Chen Guihua.
