Episode 12 recap: Chen Gui Hua wants to drive away Yu Jing.
Yu Chun told Chen Gui Hua that the fortune teller said that she and that person have conflicting destinies, and the next unlucky one would be her. Chen Gui Hua was frightened, and Yu Chun asked her if she would continue to induce labor. Chen Gui Hua said she couldn't even protect her own life, so why bother inducing labor. Just as she said that, the painting on Chen Gui Hua's bedside fell down, but luckily Yu Chun pushed her away in time.
Chen Gui Hua woke up from her bed and looked around, but Yu Chun was nowhere to be found. Chen Gui Hua got off the bed and went to look for Yu Chun. When she opened the door, she saw a beam of blue light, and there were a pair of children's red cloth shoes at the doorstep. Chen Gui Hua screamed loudly and closed the door again, but then she heard Yu Chun's voice calling her from outside.
Chen Gui Hua quickly opened the door, and Yu Chun hugged her tightly. Chen Gui Hua asked Yu Chun what was going on, and Yu Chun said she just went out to get a drink of water, but she felt like someone was chasing her from behind. Chen Gui Hua comforted Yu Chun and told her not to be afraid. She looked outside again, but the pair of red cloth shoes had already disappeared.
Yu Chun asked Chen Gui Hua what they should do now, and Chen Gui Hua went to find the fortune teller. The fortune teller told her it was because of Yu Jing. The fortune teller said that Yu Jing carried an unfortunate star that was harmful to them, and she suggested that Yu Jing should go back to where she came from. When Chen Gui Hua heard this and was asked to send Yu Jing back, she became worried about what would happen to her if Yu Jing left.
The fortune teller said that if she continued to hesitate like this, one of them would face a calamity. Yu Jing heard that Gu Dequan was going to help the villagers sell cherries, so she asked Xiao Shan to find out how the cherry market was this year. Chen Gui Hua and Yu Chun returned home and coincidentally ran into Yu Jing. Yu Jing asked them why they were so flustered early in the morning.
Chen Gui Hua told Gu Jia Hui about this and she was prepared to drive Yu Jing away.
