Episode 20 recap: Yu Jing threatened Gu Dequan.

Chen Gui Hua pointed at Gu Jia Hui and demanded that he split the assets in half, claiming that Gu Dequan had deceived her of her dowry. Gu Jia Hui asked if she had caused enough trouble, but Chen Gui Hua jumped up and insisted that he give her the money. Chen Gui Hua accused Gu Jia Hui of forgetting his mother once he had money, while Li Xiaolian watched them fight. Chen Gui Hua and Gu Jia Hui fought in the courtyard, with Chen Gui Hua believing that Gu Jia Hui had forgotten his mother now that he had money.

Chen Gui Hua demanded that Gu Dequan return all the assets he had given to Gu Jia Hui, arguing that if Gu Dequan gave him the assets, he must also share with her. Gu Jia Hui ran as Chen Gui Hua chased and hit him, and neighbors gathered to watch the fight. Li Xiaolian, who was passing by after buying groceries, also joined in to watch the commotion.

When Li Xiaolian returned home and placed her bag on the table, she glared at Gu Dequan. Gu Dequan asked why she came back so late without washing clothes or cooking. He said he was still alive, and if she wanted the family property, she should treat him better. Li Xiaolian reminded him that he had promised that whoever gave birth to a child first would inherit the property, but now he had given it to Gu Jia Hui before Yu Jing even got pregnant.

Gu Dequan asked where she heard that from, stating that he never promised to give away the family property. Just then, Yu Jing and Gu Jia Hui arrived with some items to visit Gu Dequan. Yu Jing admitted that they were wrong before and now they brought things to apologize to Gu Dequan. Gu Dequan asked Li Xiaolian to throw all the items outside, which made her completely angry. She accidentally hit Gu Dequan with the groceries and declared that she would no longer care about his well-being.

As soon as Li Xiaolian left the house, Yu Jing arrived, and Gu Dequan remarked that Yu Jing had a good plan. Yu Jing informed Gu Dequan that she intended to expose all his wrongdoings online.
