Episode 3 recap: Lushuangshuang has a fever.

Moxingqian is very weak and crawls onto the bed, angrily saying that he shouldn't have trusted Lushuangshuang, as she drugged him again. Lushuangshuang unbuttons her clothes, and Moxingqian anxiously asks her what she intends to do. Lushuangshuang thinks that Moxingqian isn't very smart because the drug was clearly given by his grandfather. She believes that Moxingqian is too self-absorbed and that she doesn't mean anything to him.

Moxingqian is afraid as he watches Lushuangshuang approach him. Lushuangshuang tells Moxingqian that he has been drugged and that they need to tie themselves up for safety. She then takes a rope and ties Moxingqian up. Lushuangshuang continues muttering about their chastity and how Moxingqian must sacrifice himself. Moxingqian tells Lushuangshuang that even if all the women in the world were gone, he would never have feelings for her.

Lushuangshuang overhears someone outside saying that they should increase the dosage, so she quickly pretends to tell Moxingqian not to be too anxious. The people outside find it strange that they don't hear the Crown Prince's voice. Lushuangshuang hurriedly pats Moxingqian and tells him to say something. She tickles Moxingqian, and he can't help but laugh, causing the people outside to leave. Lushuangshuang knows that the Emperor is outside, so she quickly makes Moxingqian hold her and dispels the Emperor's suspicion.

Moxingqian feels that Lushuangshuang has changed. He watches as Lushuangshuang cuts her own hand and smears it on the blanket, and he realizes that she isn't a good person. The two of them fight like children. Lushuangshuang has a fever and keeps saying something about being a wicked supporting female character, but Moxingqian doesn't quite understand.
