Episode 2 recap: Mo Bing and Mu Yuanqi got married.
When Mu Yuanqi and Mo Bing were preparing to get married, King Jing arrived. He thought Mu Yuanqi was really lucky to marry three beautiful women at the same time. He asked about the other two, but Mo Bing took the wine glass from King Jing's hand, drank it all at once, and retorted. On the night of the wedding, Mu Yuanqi went to Yu Sanniang's room.
Mo Bing quickly went to Yu Sanniang's room to impersonate her when she found out. Mu Yuanqi knew that this marriage was a forced one for her, but it meant something different for himself. Three months ago, he was being chased and luckily saved by Yu Sanniang at her medical clinic. Mu Yuanqi knew that marrying Yu Sanniang was a fortunate thing for him, but he didn't know it was a painful thing for her.
Mo Bing's maid told her that it was all because of the three identities she created that they had so much trouble. Mo Bing told her that she had lived for so long, and if it weren't for these three identities, how could she survive? As she was speaking, Mo Bing's heart began to ache, thinking of how Min Jiu had taken out her heart three thousand years ago. Mo Bing got up from the bed and realized that it was Yun Zhao who had saved her.
Yun Zhao said that when he found Mo Bing, she still had a faint breath, so he gave her an artificial heart. Mo Bing asked him whether she was now a human or a ghost, and Yun Zhao told her she was half-human, half-puppet.
