Episode 21 recap: Mo Bing wanted to kill Mu Yuan Qi.
Mo Bing held a sword and pointed it at Mu Yuan Qi. Mu Yuan Qi asked her to listen to his explanation. He did initially want Mo Bing's heart, but later he fell in love with her. Mo Bing said that if he wanted it, he should just take it openly. Why use the pretext of love and make her fall in love with him too? Mo Bing told Mu Yuan Qi that she initially wanted his heart as well.
Lu Sheng hurriedly came to tell Mu Yuan Qi that Mo Bing was missing. Mu Yuan Qi thought she might have gone somewhere to have fun. However, Lu Sheng said that Zhi Qing and Bai He were also missing. It was at this moment that Mu Yuan Qi realized the seriousness of the situation.
Mo Bing also found out that Ru Fei was not dead. Mu Yuan Qi had saved her time and time again because he wanted her heart. Yun Zhao thought that Mo Bing was no longer suitable to stay in the palace and suggested that she leave the city while he dealt with Mu Yuan Qi.
Mu Yuan Qi came to find Mo Bing, but Yun Zhao told him to give up because Mo Bing would never forgive him. Ru Fei arrived at the palace to kill Mo Bing, but Mu Yuan Qi stopped her. He asked Ru Fei to give him some more time, as he would definitely find a solution that benefited everyone.
