Episode 6 recap: Mo Bing wanted to know Mu Yuan Qi's intentions.
Hua Mama from the Miao Yin Fang came to see Mu Yuan Qi and gave him the property deed of Miao Yin Fang and the indenture of all the people. Mu Yuan Qi asked her what this meant, and Hua Mama said she wanted to seek his protection. Mu Yuan Qi refused her; he told Hua Mama to leave immediately and not to talk nonsense like that again.
Hua Mama left with the things she brought. In fact, she did this to test Mu Yuan Qi's intentions. Yu San Niang's maid came to inform Mu Yuan Qi that San Niang wanted to see him. When Mu Yuan Qi arrived, Yu San Niang gave him a pill. Yu San Niang told Mu Yuan Qi that the pill can grant immortality. Mu Yuan Qi quickly asked her if it could also detoxify, but Yu San Niang told him it couldn't, it only grants immortality.
After hearing this, Mu Yuan Qi returned the pill to Mo Bing because he believed that immortality was a form of torture for him. News came that Jia Ning Jun Zhu paid a visit, and Mo Bing asked why she came. The messenger told her that it was because the Prince Jing slandered Mo Bing in front of the Empress, accusing her of being arrogant and domineering. As a result, the Empress sent Liu Mama to discipline Mo Bing.
