Episode 7 recap: Mo Bing almost revealed her true intentions.
Mo Bing's heart disease acted up again. Her maid informed her that Yun Zhao had told her that if she finished all the medicine, she would develop resistance to it. If the disease flared up again, it would be unbearable. Mo Bing didn't know when Yun Zhao would return. She told her maid not to worry because Mama Hua had sent additional people to look for him.
Mo Bing also asked about Mu Yuan Qi's recent situation. Her maid told her that Bai He said Mu Yuan Qi had been sending gifts to Yu San Niang's room every day, and she was almost unable to bear it. Mo Bing realized that Mu Yuan Qi still had deep feelings for Yu San Niang, so she decided to disguise herself as Yu San Niang and meet Mu Yuan Qi again.
Mu Yuan Qi angrily pushed open Mo Bing's door and asked her what she had done to Yu San Niang and why she was avoiding him. When he opened the door, he saw Yu San Niang standing in Mo Bing's room. He asked her why she was there. Yu San Niang told him that she had come to take care of the illness of the queen, Mo Bing. Mu Yuan Qi saw the person lying on the bed and asked Mo Bing to reveal her face.
Mu Yuan Qi lifted the blanket and discovered that the person on the bed wasn't Mo Bing. Mu Yuan Qi thought that Mo Bing had done this to drive away Yu San Niang, so he told Mo Bing not to leave the house anymore. Mu Yuan Qi still couldn't grasp Yu San Niang's intentions, so he decided to find someone who understood and clarify the situation.
Mu Yuan Qi disguised himself as Jin Gongzi and went to find Xian Yun to ask. Xian Yun immediately understood that he was referring to Yu San Niang.
