Episode 10 recap: The madam of the night audit, Old Bao, is jealous of Mei Shi Qi.
Leng Mo Yan couldn't avoid Mei Shi Qi's investigation, so he had to deceive Mei Shi Qi indirectly and intentionally flirt with her using the pretext of a Qixi Festival date. He captivated Mei Shi Qi's heart and mind. Mei Shi Qi's heart raced, and she couldn't resist Leng Mo Yan's words. Po Luo Ya Jia knew that Luo Qing Chen was already dead, and upon hearing such an order from their lord, she understood that he intended to kill her to silence her. However, she didn't know who their lord was and could only beg for mercy. Leng Mo Yan asked Po Luo Ya Jia to reveal what she knew, so she disclosed that Luo Qing Chen was an undercover agent planted by Jing Wang in the Fu Rong Tower. She also stated that Jing Wang had never given any orders to assassinate Emperor Yu.
Once Leng Mo Yan and Mei Shi Qi obtained the information they wanted, they let Po Luo Ya Jia go. However, Mei Shi Qi, feeling a bit jealous due to her own attractiveness, seduced Leng Mo Yan, causing her to have mixed feelings. After they parted ways, Mei Shi Qi questioned Leng Mo Yan, asking if he had been staring at Po Luo Ya Jia intently. Leng Mo Yan didn't want to discuss that topic and only wanted to know the truth behind Luo Qing Chen's poisoning.
Leng Mo Yan believed that Luo Qing Chen was either eliminated by Jing Wang or silenced by their lord, but he saw no reason for himself to kill Luo Qing Chen. Leng Mo Yan talked to Mei Shi Qi about Jing Wang and then they each went their separate ways. Meanwhile, Jiang Bie Yan scolded Mei Shi Qi harshly for secretly helping Leng Mo Yan.
