Episode 1 recap: Zichuan Xiu fell victim to a conspiracy.
Every time, Zichuan Kingdom is engaged in battles with other regions. The conflicts in their area never cease and every time it's the ordinary people who suffer. This has caused widespread complaints and grievances. At this moment, the leader of the Northern tribe suddenly led his soldiers to attack near Zichuan Kingdom. The soldiers on the other side immediately reported this bad news.
Upon learning about this, Vice Leader Baichuan, Luo Jie, and Mingyu became anxious and uneasy. However, the main figurehead still hadn't appeared on the scene. As the commander of the Northern tribe, the first fierce general, he was confident about this battle and believed he could win. But during the fight, a masked person suddenly appeared in front of General Geshah of the Northern tribe. After successfully defeating them, Zichuan Xiu was still among the defeated soldiers. He saw the Northern tribe's princess, Kadan, and when he noticed the people around preparing to harm her, he felt that she was innocent and without hesitation, he approached her, pretending to be intimate, making everyone believe that he liked her. In this way, he saved her.
When Baichuan was interrogating a prisoner from the Northern tribe alone in the prison, he didn't receive any useful information from the prisoner. As a result, he misunderstood Zichuan Xiu and started feeling displeased with him. Although he couldn't comprehend why Zichuan Xiu stopped pursuing, he believed that he must have had his own meaningful reasons.
On the other side, the maid next to them informed Zichuan Ning about the situation regarding the gift sent by the other side. To their surprise, the gift turned out to be a dead scorpion. Although the people around were murmuring, they still accepted the gift. It turned out that Zichuan Ning and Zichuan Xiu had grown up together since childhood, which made Zichuan Ning constantly hold a special place in his heart.
While Zichuan Xiu was gathering with his other close friends, he suddenly remembered an incident that happened seven years ago.
