Episode 3 recap: Prince Tai is guarding the spirit of His Royal Highness.

The next morning, Yuezhi pretended to be weak and came over to guard the spirit of the prince. Du Bin mentioned the assassination attempt from the previous night, and Yuezhi naturally pretended not to know and assured Du Bin that the prince would protect her. Yuezhi also asked to speak alone with the prince. After seeing the prince's gaze, Du Bin agreed.

When Yuezhi was alone, she intentionally mentioned taking out one of the prince's eyeballs. Of course, the prince would not let Yuezhi succeed and immediately grabbed her hand as she tried to stab him with a dagger. He then called for Du Bin. Yuezhi's scheme was no match for the prince's wit, and he aimed the dagger at himself, pretending to be delighted when the prince woke up.

The prince had no choice but to continue acting with Yuezhi. They both changed into wedding attire, preparing for their marital duties. Before that, the prince asked Yuezhi about her intentions, and Yuezhi purposely shed tears and expressed joy over saving the prince's life. Yuezhi's main goal was to kill the prince, but his cunning nature allowed him to quickly discover Yuezhi's tricks. The hand holding the dagger was tied to the prince's hand with a red string.

Yuezhi tried to get up, but the prince pressed her down. He then discovered the hidden dagger in Yuezhi's hairpin. Yuezhi explained that it was a self-defense tool because she was born into a family of military officers. In that case, Prince Tai decided to thoroughly search Yuezhi to see if she had any other items. The guards at the door were eavesdropping on the commotion in the room, and Du Bin went over and sent his subordinates away, secretly listening to everything that was happening at the door.
