Beyond expectations. This drama has a great quality, combining the themes of racing, time travel, and dual souls. It stands out from the majority of urban and idol dramas on the market. The drama version has a more rich and expanded storyline, with a detailed portrayal of the racing aspect that is both passionate and thrilling. I watched one episode and found the pacing tight, the dialogue speed normal, and surprisingly, I didn't need to use the fast-forward option. It's rare to come across a drama like this that doesn't dampen my interest in Chinese dramas.
As expected, Hu Xian Xu is the right choice. He is perfect for passionate and fantasy dramas. Seeing the continuation of the familiar atmosphere from "The King's Avatar" in "The River of Time," it really brings back a sense of nostalgia. Hu's selection of dramas shows good taste in aesthetics and development positioning, which is friendly to someone like me who isn't a fan of ancient or modern idol dramas. Lin Zhen Dong portrays the character with a suit, glasses, and elegant manners, exuding a handsome yet gentle and unique CEO-like aura, not the typical arrogant CEO portrayal. And when it's Zhang Chi played by Chi Zhen Dong, he can even have visions of Wang Yan Lin's character, showing that he has put in effort to observe and understand the other person. He handles these two different character personalities with finesse, naturalness, and high distinction. Hu's acting skills are really good. The other actors also give a comfortable impression so far. The insertion of songs by Pu Shu and the element of women's football... all these familiar elements make it very endearing. I will continue to follow this drama and hope that it maintains its level of quality.

I feel like this drama can only rely on word-of-mouth to succeed. In terms of overall production, I would rate it around 3.89. The music is average, and the director's editing is just okay. However, there are occasional bright spots. There should be character development later on, so it might still have potential. Personally, I quite enjoy Hu Xian Xu's acting, so I'll give it one star specifically to encourage him. (It seems like this drama is taking a niche route again. Actors like Hu Xian Xu should be paired with better scripts in our domestic dramas.) Lastly, I hope Hu Xian Xu can collaborate with the female lead in the future. Hehehe.

Watched 6 episodes overnight, couldn't continue. To be honest, Xiao Hu's acting is pretty good, but Wang Yan Lin's character shattered my perception of Zhang Chi. The reason I couldn't continue watching is because I felt a slight aversion. It's normal to want to change something after being reborn in someone else's body, but using someone else's money and recording a threatening video knowing that the original owner will return... It's difficult to evaluate.

Binged-watched ten episodes in one go, and it's amazing. Hu Xian Xu's acting is incredible, portraying a dual personality. The switch between personalities is like plastic surgery; the same scene, but the eyes and demeanor instantly transform. Zhang Zhi's version of Lin Zhen Dong is quite adorable, especially when he lies on the bed checking the time in England. It feels like a grown-up version of Wanda's visions. And Xiao Lin Zhen Dong, he's my baby, my wife. He acts so well, it's truly heart-wrenching.

Because of Xiao Hu's appearance, the drama is being annoyingly filled with additional scenes. Can't they stop casting these actors with no looks, no acting skills, and no reputation to add unnecessary scenes? Look at all the plotlines related to that traffic policeman. Are any of them effective plotlines? Are they expecting the audience to be thrilled by them? And what about Qin Nane Xian? Does he look like a commentator to you? It's all empty talk. I feel like I'm going to pass out halfway through watching, and they have to come and resuscitate me. How did they manage to find such low-quality individuals?

I've watched up to episode 20, but I don't want to continue watching anymore. The screenwriter is crazy. Except for the first few episodes which were good, each subsequent episode has had plotlines that made me cringe. Come on, this is supposed to be an intense and passionate series, but the ensemble cast is written terribly. The further it goes, the more it feels like the supporting characters' personalities collapse, and they become nothing more than mere tools. If it weren't for Xiao Lin and Xiao He, I wouldn't have made it this far.

I initially thought it was just riding on the popularity of the movie version, so I didn't watch it. But after stumbling upon some clips, I felt they were good and decided to give it a try. It's really good! Hu Xian Xu's acting is truly one of the few in this age group who can deliver a relaxed and natural performance. Although Zhang Chi's character is annoyingly indecisive for 27 years, Lin Zhen Dong really makes me feel that he is gentle, determined, polite, and logically sound. Who would have known? The characters in the drama aren't stereotyped; there are no strictly good or bad people. The ensemble cast is intricately portrayed, and I really like that. I caught up with it in just two days.

Just finished watching all nine episodes, and I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love it. Hu Xian Xu's acting is truly amazing. The portrayal of the dual personalities is incredibly skillful, and watching Xiao Hu's performances is so satisfying. The plot leaned towards a face-slapping, satisfying storyline in the earlier episodes, but in the ninth episode, it delves into the main storyline. Falling in love with Xiao Lin Zong feels as simple as breathing. Yan He Xiang's acting is unexpectedly excellent; I was moved to tears in the eighth episode. Kan Qing Zi is stunningly beautiful and unexpectedly has great chemistry with Xiao Hu. Next time, Xiao Hu should find an older sister to play a romantic relationship between an older woman and a younger man. With such great acting skills, they should have some emotional scenes while they're still young.

3.5 stars. Two stars go to Hu Xian Xu, and one and a half stars go to the real Lin Zhen Dong. Other than that, there's hardly anything worth mentioning.
Firstly, the character Zhang Chi is just too annoying. After taking over someone else's body, he does whatever he wants, leaving Lin Zhen Dong to clean up the mess. He even forces Lin to believe that he has a split personality and keeps apologizing. The portrayal of Zhang Chi from five years ago is also poorly executed, making him extremely unlikable. There's a stark contrast between him and the Zhang Chi from five years later.
Secondly, Officer Shen's character is completely unnecessary. His screen time is all given to Hong Kuo, and it doesn't contribute to the plot in any way.
Lastly, as a hot-blooded ensemble drama, it lacks the passion and ensemble spirit. Other than Lin Zhen Dong, Hong Kuo, and Old Ye, the rest of the main cast lacks any charisma. It feels like Lin Zhen Dong is doing what he could have done even without being taken over. Both the present and future versions of Zhang Chi show no growth whatsoever; they're just focused on saving themselves. It's a rather terrifying drama.

C-drama "Feichi: A Life of Passion" was unexpectedly good! Really, I already liked the movie version, so I wasn't expecting much from the web drama version, but... the screenwriter really did an amazing job! The time travel and personality-switching concept brought about a synergy that exceeded expectations! And the racing theme itself is rare. Without giving away any spoilers, personally, I really enjoyed it. As long as it doesn't have a disappointing ending, this is currently the drama I highly recommend, without a doubt! If you're a fan of the Feichi series or enjoy racing themes, I suggest you watch it as soon as possible!

I haven't watched the movie "Feichi," but the early episodes of the drama version were somewhat appealing. However, the more I watched, the less I liked the character of Zhang Chi. I didn't like the old version or the new version. The more the story progressed, the less I liked him. It feels like he's only good at racing, and everything else about his character and personality is mediocre. The third star is solely for Hu Xian Xu. His acting skills are truly amazing. He effortlessly switches between two personalities, especially when he portrays Lin Zhendong himself. His subtle expressions and mannerisms are so well-executed. This kid has a bright future ahead.
Lastly, one major reason for deducting points is the female police officer. Her added scenes were too obvious, and they felt disconnected from the rest of the drama. I was bewildered when there were random emotional flashbacks. It can be said that her role in the show could have been given to any member of the racing team, so her purpose is quite clear.

Here I want to refute two points. First, some people say that the racing scenes in TV dramas can't compare to movies. How high is the production cost of a movie? How high can the production cost of a TV drama be? No matter what TV drama you watch, its production cannot possibly match the excellence of movies. Second, there are some self-righteous individuals who are once again falling ill. Honestly ask yourself, if you were to travel back in time and inhabit someone else's body, knowing that you will die in the future, would you not do everything in your power to prevent it? If you were to inhabit someone else's body, would you consider their feelings? If my husband were to inhabit someone else's body, what were they doing before? Should I just continue on honestly? Are you trying to be funny?

I came to watch this drama because I liked "Fei Chi 2" and "Qi Hun," but I never expected the script to turn out like this. I just want to say, is it really that difficult for the screenwriter of this time-traveling drama to respect other people's lives? If this time-traveler were only sixteen or seventeen years old, I could tolerate it, but this is an adult! They intrude into someone else's life without any regard, squandering the original protagonist's wealth and power without taking any responsibility. How is this any different from being a thief?
I feel like Zhang Chi has less empathy than a fraction of the time traveler's (I'm sorry, I couldn't resist the criticism).
These two stars are for the pairing of Hu Xian Xu and Zhao Hao Hong.

It completely shattered my perception of Hu Xian Xu being cute and adorable, and instead presented a Lin Zhen Dong who is handsome and compelling. It seems that Hu Xian Xu's acting range is quite broad.
No longer the child star I remembered, he has completely transformed into a young man with a perfect blend of youthful charm and masculine allure. His looks, his acting skills, that sense of melancholy.
Oh my, the Chinese entertainment industry is ablaze right now, and what happened to Hu Xian Xu? His meticulous control over the character and his ability to portray him with his own talents, it's absolutely incredible. It feels so natural, smooth, and comfortable.
It's so easy to grasp the emotions he conveys through his performance.

It would be better if they could remove most of the melodramatic parts and make the pacing more compact. Hu Xian Xu's performance was quite good.
There are many comedic elements in it, and you can tell they wanted to make it a comedy, but the effect is somewhat average. Some parts are really exciting, while others constantly oscillate between life and death at a magical speed.
However, I treated the drama and the movie as separate stories and watched them independently, and it was still enjoyable.
Zee9 months ago rating:5.5
When it first aired, I thought it was quite enjoyable. The entire story followed the framework of the movie. However, because it followed the framework of the movie, Zhang Chi's presence felt a bit forced. Since we've seen the movie, we know that Lin Zhen Dong would overcome his psychological barriers, deal with his family issues, establish his own racing team, and become an excellent driver even without knowing Zhang Chi. So, when Zhang Chi enters the picture, he only adds various difficulties and troubles for Lin Zhen Dong, who was already on his own path. The so-called help is just a flashy way to achieve an already predetermined outcome (there are even some elements of pick-up artist techniques involved, particularly in the part about overcoming psychological barriers. According to the character development in the drama, if Lin Zhen Dong didn't know Zhang Chi, he would probably have a less extreme method of breaking through. But after knowing Zhang Chi, it turns into a desperate method of breaking through, and even after successfully breaking through, he still has to thank them for their help. What if he fell off a cliff in the process?). I can only say that the script really falls short. And that police officer's PowerPoint-style flashbacks made me deduct three rooms and a living room from my rating. Two stars for Xiaohu's acting skills.

Originally, I came to watch because of Xiaohu, but I was truly stunned by his dual personality acting skills. Both the main and supporting cast delivered outstanding performances. In terms of the plot, the drama is tightly paced and full of ups and downs, providing viewers with great enjoyment. Each episode is tightly connected to the main theme, and the progression of the story through racing competitions allows the audience to constantly experience the growth and transformation of the protagonist. Additionally, the character portrayals in the drama are very distinct, with each character having their own unique personality and traits, allowing the audience to deeply understand and feel their inner world.
In terms of the actors' performances, the drama boasts a strong ensemble cast, and the actors' performances are excellent. Through their superb acting skills, they vividly portray the emotions and personalities of their characters, allowing the audience to authentically experience their joys and sorrows.
On the production side, the drama features beautiful visuals and impactful sound effects, immersing the audience in the intense and thrilling racing competitions. Additionally, the drama's music score is exceptional, perfectly complementing the visuals and highlighting the tension and intensity of the plot.

One star for Hu Xian Xu's acting. I dropped it after 4 episodes. After watching "Fei Chi Ren Sheng," I thought Zhang Chi was a decent person. But here, he's just a garbage person. Refined selfishness, taking over someone else's life to fulfill his own, without any remorse or sense of wrongdoing. I can already guess what the plot will be like later on. Lin Zhen Dong will be "influenced" by Zhang Chi, find his "passion," and fall in love with racing. Zhang Chi will ironically become the savior of Lin Zhen Dong's life.
There's no need for darkness. There are clearly better ways to help, but they deliberately chose the most despicable path to gain benefits. The money belongs to others, the identity belongs to others, and Zhang Chi is just a parasite. There's not even basic respect. What is this drama really playing with? It's fine to have an entertaining drama, but it shouldn't toy with human nature. It's even more outrageous to force good people to compromise their principles for profit. It lacks substance.

After watching 20 episodes, I feel like this drama can only get 2.5 stars. It's a typical result of the power struggle between content creators and capital. They forcefully added scenes for the rookie actor Peng Xin, while Hong Kuo's storyline is a mess. She's pushed aside and the internal conflicts are poorly portrayed. The character development of the other members of the racing team keeps changing, stepping on my personal boundaries. The forced plot twists are really unappealing. If you can't write well, then don't write at all. This drama lacks the support of good actors and the racing scenes. The plot and character development are truly disappointing. It feels like someone forcefully stuffed shit into a good dish. It's a pity for Hu Xianxi and Wang Yan Lin. It's understandable why this drama received negative reviews.

It's so good! The racing parts are full of passion, and the cinematography is beautiful. The storytelling is also interesting, and Xiao Hu's performance is excellent, especially in the parts played by Lin Zhen Dong, where we can feel his struggles and unspoken difficulties. The story of his rapid growth with the help of Chi Zhen Dong and the racing team is truly amazing. However, the character of the female traffic police officer feels like an unnecessary addition in the later parts of the drama. Her scenes sometimes feel forced, and these scenes would have been better given to Hong Kuo (a longtime friend) and the racing team (who are more professional and have a better understanding). It especially feels unreasonable that the female traffic police officer seems to never have to go to work. Because of this, I give it a minus star.

One star for the subject matter, and another star for my kindness. The screenwriter's lack of logic is evident in every aspect of the plot, character relationships, and the values the drama intends to convey. After watching up to episode 23, here are my thoughts:
1. The racing team consists of individuals who curse and form small groups for the sake of money. They excel at emotional blackmail and moral manipulation.
2. Zhang Chi has advanced stage bipolar disorder.
3. Lin Zhendong is a saintly figure who continues to give money even after being betrayed.
4. The lingering effects of body possession in the early and later stages.
5. Hong Kuo and Lin's mother have truly suffered.
6. Yu Taian is definitely a scumbag. Lin's mother has a valid reason for not allowing her son to race.
In conclusion, I urge the screenwriter to stop writing.

Zhang Chi's character is truly lacking any charm. He's impulsive, stubborn, lazy, and self-centered. He loves to slack off during training, and even though he knows the team is short on money, he acts like a stubborn old man when it comes to business matters. He easily throws tantrums at Xiao He, and his idea of "love" is too childish. What makes this driver worthy of friends who would give everything to stay in the team?
Furthermore, Wang Yan Lin's acting is as terrible as Zhang Chi's character. What was that weak and lifeless delivery of lines at the beginning of the first episode? Script + Wang's acting skills = 1???? However, Xiao Lin and Hong Kuo are indeed adorable. Xiao Hu did a good job with the soul-switching scenes. I ended up continuing to watch because of Xiao Lin.

Ah, Wang Yan Lin just can't keep up with Xiao Hu's acting. I even think that he doesn't need to act and his real-life personality would create a better on-screen effect.
(Also, as the story progresses, it becomes more and more illogical. When the Fei Chi team, who values loyalty and camaraderie, is on the verge of disbanding, it's Lin Zhen Dong who brings them back together. Why did they have to create a biased plot between Zhang Chi and Hong Kuo in front of Lin Zhen Dong? Of course, everyone has their own person they want to support, but if this favoritism is shown through hurting others, then it's not the Fei Chi team anymore. The audience can accept characters having flaws, but they can't understand conflicts for the sake of conflicts in the storyline.)

Viewer: To be honest, the subject matter and actors are fine, but I feel like it could have been better. The logic could have been more rigorous, and the characters are a bit flat. Many details don't hold up under scrutiny, and many developments don't align with reality. Also, I don't believe that the future Zhang Chi would be so restless. He doesn't seem like a middle-aged person who has experienced so much. All the plot and characterizations remain superficial, which is a pity considering the good subject matter and actors.
In summary: If you're bored with current popular dramas, you can give it a try, but it's not worth specifically setting aside time to watch.

I can only say that after watching this TV drama, I realized how talented Shen Teng is as an actor. Zhang Chi and Lin Zhendong's performances were not as good as the movie version, and they should have just brought the actors from the movie to play the roles... Wang Yanlin and Hu Xianxu should study the characters more by observing Shen Teng and Huang Jingyu. The time-travel theme is good, but when you start taking over someone else's life, it becomes possession... If it's possession, why not possess a less important character? Or go back to Zhang Chi's own body and tell his own story... I couldn't get into it, dropped it after the first episode.

At first, I was curious to see how they would eventually resolve the time travel aspect, because I thought it would be difficult for me to accept no matter how they handled it. But it turned out to be quite intriguing. As the story progressed, the focus was mainly on Hu Xian Xu, and he handled it well. In terms of the plot, unresolved bugs are forcibly resolved, such as Zhang Chi's leg injury medical expenses being covered by Manager Ye. In terms of the fantasy genre, it's a hundred times worse than "I'll Wait for You in the Future" and "The Queen's Gambit." Such a great cast was wasted.

I must admit, I have some free time on my hands, and it's a bit of nostalgia. I didn't have much to do, so I decided to give this web drama a try.
The time-travel setting is somewhat interesting. Some of the plotlines can be exciting or melodramatic, which has its highlights.
But let's not talk about the acting.
Except for Zhang Chi, the other young actors are truly painful to watch. Shen Xiting, Ji Xing, and the likes are nothing but props. Their lines are so predictable that even the audience can guess what they'll say with just their toes.
It's quite embarrassing.
So, the actress who played Xiaohe is called Kan Qing Zi, huh? She's quite beautiful.
The cast's acting is actually pretty good. Is it a pacing issue? It feels like the plot is being rapidly pushed forward, yet it's still very slow-paced.
This is a racing-themed drama, but the moments that should be intense are completely lacking in intensity. Other emotions like disappointment and excitement also fail to be evoked.
Hu Xian Xu's portrayal of Lin Zhen Dong and Zhang Chi's portrayal of Zhang Zhi are clearly distinct, but the two characters' personalities seem different.
Up to the 14th episode, the segment where they participate in the show was poorly executed.
This TV series is actually quite interesting, more interesting than I expected. It gives me a bit of the feeling I had when I watched "Chess Soul" back then.
At first, I was curious to see how they would eventually resolve the time travel aspect, because I thought it would be difficult for me to accept no matter how they handled it.
But it turned out to be quite intriguing. As the story progressed, the focus was mainly on Hu Xian Xu, and he handled it well. The other male lead was also good, although he had less room to showcase his talent.
Viewer: The editing pace is so strange! It's filled with meaningless flashbacks, making it difficult for the audience to engage with the characters' emotions fully. I'm completely confused.
Xiao Hu is so charming! Little Yazhi is so proud after overtaking! Love it! The back-and-forth switch in their personalities is well-paced. It's rare to find a Chinese drama that keeps me engaged throughout without losing interest.
Xiao Hu knows how to choose good scripts!
Episode 16 was terrible, and episode 19 was awful... It can't solely rely on Xiao Hu to carry the show, the plot is just too ridiculous.
I dropped it after episode 20. Well done, screenwriter, keep on making up nonsense.
This drama is quite extraordinary. It's rare to see a drama where the first few episodes focus solely on the plot without developing the characters.
Both the main and supporting characters seem like mere props until Lin Renge decides to become a race car driver, and then the plot disappears. Additionally, Hu Xian Xu's acting is not that impressive, yet Wang Yan Lin still outshines him.
These middle-aged unattractive men really seem to be enjoying themselves in the entertainment industry.
