Well, in my opinion, the character of the male lead, Gu Xun, is well established! From the beginning, when he liked Xiaomahua, he kept his distance from other girls! Even after facing setbacks, he didn't rush to reveal his identity. He silently protected the female lead, providing emotional support, and when it was time to focus on his career, he took it seriously. This is what a truly responsible man is like!

I am completely disappointed in Zhou Ye. The characters she portrays, including in "Guard Your Heart" and "Longing for You," are all the same... It feels like she's the same in every role... I'm giving up on her. When will the entertainment industry stop making these fake-sweet and awkward idol dramas... Both stars (?) are given for the platonic friendship between the male and female leads... Otherwise, I would give it a 0 rating.

It's a typical story where the female lead is strong, but the male lead is even stronger. The female lead is the campus belle, while the male lead is the campus heartthrob. However, the female lead is completely obsessed with the male lead's looks. Despite graduating in the same year, the male lead becomes the department manager while the female lead can't even become a team leader in his department. The male lead outshines the female lead both in real life and in the game CS, but he likes the female lead who is skilled in the game, while looking down on the campus belle in real life. It's as if the male lead cares more about substance than the female lead. Later on, they hypocritically create a sweet and indulgent pursuit of the wife storyline, which is a bit too much. Also, Zhou Ye, with her beauty, shouldn't accept everything that comes her way. Lin Yi looks good, but he should change his hairstyle. It's time for the perennial campus prince to try different roles.

The character design of the male lead is really hard to swallow. He's just a rude, clueless guy, and since he likes the female lead online, he could politely reject the real-life female lead, but instead, he keeps playing with her feelings. What's the deal with that? And later on, he defends the real-life female lead, what does that even mean??? Plus, he looks like this and still acts infatuated with Lin Yi, and the love-at-first-sight portrayal is completely implausible. Apart from being funny, there's really nothing redeeming about him...

I can't take it anymore! Why do we have scenes of Zhou Ye acting all infatuated with Lin Yi? And why is there someone who is indifferent to Zhou Ye's advances? Also, Zhou Ye's face really doesn't suit saying things like "I'm too ugly.
The female lead has a cute personality, but the workplace storyline is hard to understand. It's unrealistic for a college student to be solely responsible for developing a 3A game right from the start. Even if she didn't go to a gaming company for inspiration, she could at least learn a little bit from watching vlogs of major game studios, right? Making the game into a live-action CS for the sake of audience comprehension is fine, but a shooting game shouldn't have close physical contact or nearly kissing scenes! It would have been more reasonable to design a male lead who performs heroic acts to save the female lead.
I watched two more episodes, and the plot gets even more dumb with them intentionally acting clueless about each other's identities and deliberately acting stupid to pursue the male god. Both of them seem like they have low IQs, and there's no sense of them being top students. It's so frustrating, I can't continue watching.

I tried watching a few episodes for Zhou Ye, but I just couldn't continue. The lack of chemistry between the male and female leads is one thing, but can't the screenwriters in the entertainment industry have some logic or common sense? Take a look at these plotlines, do they make any sense? A fresh graduate becoming a CEO, eating a bowl of coriander in a rice noodle shop just for the sake of "Xiao Mahua," and quickly building a doghouse with two boards in the span of a day. It's just...6.

The male lead's previous drama was "Boss of 50 Yuan"... This drama has upgraded to "Boss of 5000 Yuan"! The boss's athletic skills are not up to par? In the middle of the night, he doesn't sleep and dances with the school girl, holding a big pot and performing a lion dance... For the sheer hilarity, I'll give it an extra star.
PS: If Xu Zhisheng can play the male lead, you should let Lin Yi get some plastic surgery before acting... Be a decent person, okay?

This director is definitely problematic. The way they film is almost on par with the ugliness of the drama starring Wang Heti and Bailu. Did they have to zoom in on the faces so much? Lin Yi's face looks so distorted when zoomed in, it's really ugly! And they didn't do a good job filming Zhou Ye either, highlighting only the flaws and neglecting any strengths. Is this how idol dramas are supposed to be filmed? They should learn from Guo Jingming. Even plain-looking actors and actresses can be made to look so good.

A terrible and contrived drama... I watched it for the good looks of the male and female leads, so I didn't have high expectations for the storyline to begin with, but I didn't expect it to be this cringe-worthy... A college student becoming the department head and juggling multiple roles in a big company, it's so unbelievable. The entire graphic design team in this supposedly impressive company seems to have only one intern, the female lead, who actually does any work. The CEO, who has been dominating the business world for so many years in such a powerful company, can only express impotent rage when confronting a college student. Zhou Ye, with such a cool face, acts like a dumbfounded statue every time she encounters the male lead in her feeble attempts to pursue him. The female lead's best friend's attempts at scheming are so foolish that it's questionable if she has a personal grudge against the female lead. Neither the female lead nor the male lead have well-developed characters. I can't bear to watch it anymore.

Before watching, I didn't pay much attention, but after watching, I'm filled with anticipation! Yue Qian Ling's mental state is something I should learn from. She boldly resigns by sending a resignation letter to her annoying boss, exemplifying the rejection of internal conflicts—a model for contemporary workers! Yue Jie is truly an exemplary figure. And then there's the unexpected twist with Gu Xun and Su Zheng; Gu Xun completely overturns Su Zheng. Both of these plot developments took me by surprise.

As a fan of the original work, the attractiveness and compatibility of the male and female leads are high, but... why does the plot weaken the female lead and strengthen the male lead? It turns out the female lead has strong original drawing and creative abilities, and she was so amazing in one part, even better than that "Starry" person's work. But later, when she joins the ninth department, her speech becomes stuttered and her drawing skills decline. I tell you, screenwriter, you've ruined the character of the female lead. And the male lead, who was originally a skilled programmer, has now become a CEO. He excels at everything he does, recruiting people, playing games, he's capable in every aspect. But suddenly, the female lead becomes weak. Does it have to be this way? Is it because without this plot, you can't continue the story?

Newspaper. The male lead's acting in the drama is not good, and he keeps making the embarrassing problem of covering up for the female lead. The female lead is nowhere near as good as the male lead in any aspect.
I'm really tired of seeing the male lead constantly overshadowing the female lead's scenes... Did the female lead fall in love at first sight when they first met? And did the male lead intentionally lose to her even when comforting her? I'm speechless. Watching the female lead, a true campus beauty, fawn over a big-nosed octopus-faced guy, I used to think that she was infatuated with the short and wrinkled guy before. So it's the same old story, right? And she still acts all high and mighty? Can a normal person pretend to be innocent like that? Innocent people aren't brainless, right? Even innocent people would feel wronged.

With this kind of plot, there are still people giving it four or five stars? I can understand if someone gives it two stars... The previous dramas Zhou Ye took on, except for "Huxin", were all modern romance dramas, and the problem with modern romance dramas is that they lack depth.
I wonder how people who have watched Zhou Ye's drama with Tan Jianci would feel when they watch this drama...
I only watched the first episode and I couldn't even finish it before I dropped it. Don't tell me it gets better later, if it can't even hold people's interest from the beginning, then what's the point?

It's a light-hearted comedy, a unique idol drama where a genuine green tea meets a fake white lotus. It's a joy to watch and perfect for killing time after work. Yue Qian Ling can be considered as one of the few distinctive female leads in domestic modern romantic dramas in recent years. She has a hot temper, never compromises herself, and is slightly neurotic but adorable. I can't wait to see Yue Jie's character fall from grace and give up pretending to be a white lotus, returning to her role as a fierce queen.

Firstly, the acting skills of the male and female leads are exaggerated, to the point of ruining the performances. Secondly, the plot and the setup have glaring flaws that leave you speechless. It feels like they didn't put much effort into fooling the audience. Lastly, I am extremely disgusted by the fact that the female lead's career progress relies on the help and guidance of the male lead. This seems to be a common problem in domestic idol dramas. Despite the promotion of independent and sensible women, they always end up as submissive flowers to domineering CEOs. Disappointing!

This drama is unrealistic and detached from reality. It is completely out of sync with the actual workplace. In reality, no company would ever let a fresh graduate manage a department and become a manager, no matter how talented they are, unless they are the boss's son. Is it realistic for a recent graduate to afford such a nice apartment? These are high-end neighborhoods where each person has their own unit. You can't rent one for less than five or six thousand. How much salary does the female lead have? Let's conservatively estimate it at ten thousand. Half of her salary goes towards rent. In the latest episode, a book is priced at 799. I might believe 79, but 799? Please tell me which book is worth that much. Can't you find the same book as a PDF for 5 yuan online? There are so many logical loopholes that I don't even want to continue watching.

Male lead Tianlong is like a superhuman with an exaggerated cheat code, it's so laughable. The part where the female lead pretends to be innocent and pursues the male lead is really brainless. I couldn't stand the so-called "crematorium" storyline either. It's quite frustrating. All the backgrounds in domestic sweet dramas serve the purpose of the main characters falling in love, so it becomes two people floating above everything else and focusing solely on their romantic relationship. The workplace part is like a one-minute short video on TikTok, and the plot is so detached from reality that it's laughable. I can't even describe how awkward the plot is... And let's not forget about the cheesy transitions that made me laugh, it felt like a children's play.

The workplace plot is inexplicable in this drama:
1. Which company fires an experienced project manager and hires college students to start a new project when there's no progress in the current one?
2. Which salaryman has the energy to focus on dating after working late nights? The greatest happiness would be to go home and lie down. Don't keep bringing in passionate college students. College students are also human beings, and their energy is limited.
3. The male lead crazily poaches people from other project teams. Is it really a good idea to poach key personnel? Can't they find talent elsewhere?
4. I have issues with the characterization of the assistant. Social anxiety doesn't equate to being intellectually disabled. If they can't communicate with others, I suggest seeking treatment before finding a job. Also, the second male lead asks the assistant to sign a contract without proper procedures, and when rejected, he calls the partner to say that he'll send the contract later. The assistant is touched, but it just makes me laugh. If I were the assistant, I would think the second male lead is a pretentious weirdo.
5. During a crucial period of career advancement, the male lead delays a meeting to accompany his girlfriend to watch a movie. The girlfriend shows no understanding. This plot only makes me think they're a dysfunctional couple. I'm dropping this drama. Yezzi, don't take on such idiotic idol dramas. They have no future.

The female lead seems to alternate between being intelligent and dumb, and the male lead's charm is limited to his handsome and smart character design, with no personality or depth of thought. Lin Yi's nose is a bit ugly, but actually, this drama managed to make both characters look especially good without focusing on their appearances. I feel like I might be lenient towards beautiful women, as I find it quite enjoyable as a light-hearted romantic drama. Since it's purely a romance drama, there's no need to nitpick too much on the details. The combination of horse-falling and online gaming is something that people already love, and even now, I think it's a delightful and satisfying romantic drama.

Binged ten episodes in no time! The pacing is amazing! In the first seven episodes, I was looking forward to the female lead's downfall, and now I'm anticipating the male lead's downfall. Twenty-four episodes is just the right length!
Although the male lead's character design is a bit controversial (perfect male lead archetype + a bit rude), and his face isn't exceptionally perfect (some angles make him look like a frog...), I overlook it because it's an idol drama! Because of the storyline, it's easy to imagine the male lead being super handsome. Lin Yi's height is also perfectly suited for the role. The trend for idol dramas this year is looking great! I'm really excited!
Ye Zi is so beautiful and perfectly suited for the female lead role. I've truly fallen in love with her. I love how they adapted the story to make the supervisor character so likable. The gender-bending adaptation is super intriguing and gives off a great vibe.

At the beginning, it was okay. Lin Yi's looks didn't compare to the one with Xu Lu, and it's really hard to believe Zhou Ye falling head over heels for that face. The story lost its appeal after Zhou Ye's character took a turn. I probably won't continue watching. PS: When it comes to sweet and affectionate dramas, it seems like shorter series might be the way to go. There's really no need for excessive use of close-ups, slow-motion shots, and excessive runtime. PPS: After giving it some thought, I deducted one star. I've seen a few shorter dramas that I found more enjoyable, and I only gave this one three stars. Also, the hype about the animation being on par with AAA quality was not convincing at all. It's not an exaggeration to say that the looks of these two leads are so high that you can overlook the flaws in character development and plot. Although the plot and character development don't stand up to scrutiny, the fact that it has gained high popularity both domestically and internationally proves that the most important factor nowadays is looks and the chemistry between the leads. Watching handsome guys and beautiful girls just brings joy, even the scenes where they argue are so visually pleasing. Zhou Ye portrays some awkward situations in a lively and adorable way, which I think would be hard to achieve with other actors. That's what pleasantly surprised me. I hope the two leads can receive more good scripts. Zhou Ye, the role of a cold-faced heiress, is really perfect for you in this race.

So far, the first six episodes are pretty good. The pacing is quite fast, and it reminds me of the excitement I felt when watching "Love O2O" back then. The acting skills of the female and male leads are sufficient for an idol drama. Zhou Ye is really amazing. Her cool and charismatic appearance suits the character of Yue Qian Ling, who has a strong attitude, rather than being a naive and sweet girl. The infatuated male lead in the first few episodes felt a bit out of place, but luckily, later on, it's the male lead pursuing the female lead. That face deserves to be pursued, right? The director's skills are a bit lacking; they made the beautiful women look ugly. Lin Yi is a cute guy, and I agree that idol dramas should be played by good-looking young actors. Ah, I read the original novel just for the sake of the two faces. After watching the drama, I can only say that everyone is just going through the motions. The director didn't put in much effort (many shots were terribly ugly). The screenwriter is simply a pile of shit (starting from the chat box, it's clear they didn't use their brain). The makeup and hair styling were also careless (you can't even tell the campus belle put in any effort). It's hard to evaluate the actors (do the male and female leads really have any friends with their attitudes towards those around them? Don't these actors consider such things while acting? ?) I'm really upset. I'll continue following the drama for the sake of my obsession with attractive faces, but the lack of explosiveness is indeed for a reason. I can't see sincerity in it. I was initially attracted to watch this drama because of the line where the female lead said she wanted to chop off the male lead's head, but I was quite disappointed. The female lead is a gaming expert, an art genius, and even the beautiful school flower. What exactly doesn't match up with the male lead? This attitude in real life is just absurd! The male lead is really lacking in manners, and even after the female lead loses her disguise, she continues to be dishonest. This seriously deducts points from her character, and I can't see any outstanding qualities in the male lead. That bug-fixing scene was so awkward... It's really hard to imagine that this drama is airing in 2024. Some parts are just ridiculously absurd, and why did the screenwriter make a talented female lead so shallow? Suppressing herself to play a disgusting little white flower for a man who only has looks and no manners. I'm planning to drop the drama after watching nine episodes. Apart from the attractiveness of the main characters, this drama is quite unpleasant to watch.

I can't believe a girl would actually trust a stranger online and do something as ridiculous as being a "white lotus" for some guy. Normal female college students wouldn't do that, right? Is the screenwriter once again putting male characters on a pedestal? It's always been portrayed that women have no independent consciousness and exist solely to serve male characters. The most frustrating thing is that the female lead continues her work because of the male lead. It made me roll my eyes.

There are a few issues with this drama. Firstly, the ensemble of characters is not well developed, and the story revolving around the two main characters is too thin, lacking the atmosphere of a campus setting. Secondly, there are some shortcomings in terms of storytelling techniques. For example, when the male lead discovers that the female lead is "Xiao Mahua," there should be a sequence where memories and reality intertwine, a second internal confirmation process for the male lead to realize that the female lead is indeed "Xiao Mahua." Additionally, the scene where the male lead chases after the female lead could echo the previous scenes where the female lead pursued him. There should be a scene where the male lead seeks advice from the female lead on how to pursue a girl. And as for the female lead's past rejections, it could correspond to how the male lead faced similar rejections. It would be better to have a deeper internal observation and struggle for the male lead before pursuing the female lead, as it currently feels a bit forced for his emotions to suddenly shift.

Playing the role of a cool and confident sister is definitely within Zhou Ye's comfort zone. This is the first time I've experienced her natural acting skills.
I dropped it after episode 14. Before the major plot twist, it had a bit of a refreshing and cute charm that was worth watching, but after the twist, it became a mess... It felt like everyone was just a pawn in their game. I can't understand this kind of protagonist who can't differentiate between public and private matters. Who exactly is this elementary school student that he's interested in? I can't stand watching these idol dramas about working-class people. I have absolutely no interest in knowing what happens to them in the end...
By the way, due to my desperation for a good drama, I ended up watching "Joy of Life"... Coincidentally, I also reached episode 14, and I realized how much plot development and character building they had accomplished. Then I thought back to this drama and wondered, what exactly is it doing? Even giving it a rating of 3 out of 10 is mainly because of the attractive cast.

The dialogue delivery is excellent. It's my first time watching Lin Yi's drama, and finally, I see a male lead who portrays the cool and aloof character without a stiff face. He doesn't just have a sour expression and can even speak. So far, his acting seems to be passable. However, Zhou Ye's acting is not up to par. She has a beautiful face, and her expressions are somewhat lively, but she often fails to convey the emotions properly. When she tries to act angry and fierce, it seems more natural. At the beginning, her portrayal of the feeling of unrequited love is completely lacking. There is no gradual progression of emotions, and it feels like she's just presenting a single emotion as described in the script. It's too exaggerated, making it difficult for the audience to empathize with the character.

I watched it because of that Weibo clip of the female lead throwing a tantrum, but it turned out to be a drama that's hard to digest and not suitable for logical thinking. The only reason I kept watching was Yue Qian Ling's appearance. Her looks are especially stunning, both in terms of her 2D-styled outfits and her everyday clothing. What I don't understand is why a campus beauty like her would stoop so low to chase after the campus heartthrob and even change her own personality. The most important thing is that the female lead has a high level of attractiveness, which made me think that the male actor opposite her should be equally good-looking. Also, this screenwriter really loves that male character. The male lead's character is quite poor. At the beginning, he missed the deadline for submitting his work and targeted the female lead, thinking she was just a pretty face. His disrespectful attitude during the confession, in reality, no girl would still like him after that. I didn't feel that the male lead was genuinely pursuing the female lead later on. It seemed like he was doing reckless things to attract attention rather than putting in genuine effort (the screenwriter really loves the male lead). Especially when there are love rivals and Su Zheng pursuing the female lead, the possessiveness shown by the male lead is not admirable at all. Yes, he said he would never like her in the future, so why is he blocking others when they pursue her? Helping Su Zheng cut???? That part was truly disgusting. How can this be part of the male lead's character? I'm speechless.

The male lead's career storyline is not at all appealing and completely over the top. I really don't understand why the female lead likes him. He's truly petty, especially when he doesn't want his subordinates to interact with the female lead and assigns her work. It's really frustrating. And knowing that the microphone is on but refusing the female lead without any respect for her, there are many such plotlines in the drama. It's just baffling. The characterization of the male lead is really disappointing, and his attitude towards pursuing the female lead is problematic. I'll start by giving the main characters a five-star rating for their looks. It's been a while since I've seen a drama where both the male and female leads are good-looking! I'm eagerly anticipating it because I love watching handsome guys and beautiful girls.
It's really pleasing to my eyes. As a fan of good-looking people, I can enjoy it even if unnecessary elements are removed and it becomes a shorter drama. Overall, the plot may be cliché, but I believe that at the very least, good looks should be a prerequisite! The last time I watched a sweet drama was in high school, and now that I'm in my third year of college, it's finally nice to see another sweet drama with good-looking actors. It's not easy to come by!

The character outlines are just shocking! ∑(゚Д゚ノ)ノ Can we please stop touching game-themed dramas? I bet the screenwriters have never played games. The last drama where Cheng Xiao led a team by shouting was a bloodbath.//And now, driving a bulldozer on a road is even more outrageous. What are you doing, driving a forklift? Here comes another script written by a love-struck fool. It feels like a production line factory for scripts, 3A
development for three years, so confident. Who gave you that confidence? Black Myth was announced in 2018, had its first gameplay video in 2021, and will be released in 2024. Do you think Tencent's CG rendering counts as 3A? It was developed in just one year????︎????

After watching half of it, I quickly fast-forwarded. The male lead is a college student about to graduate and also the CEO's image. Those who have worked know how difficult it is to establish a department and become a CEO right after graduation. It feels a bit disconnected to be a CEO in the company and still have to worry about graduation retakes in school.
The plot is unique, but the execution is not smooth enough. I don't think you can find an assistant with social anxiety like in real life. There aren't such introverted people in the workplace.
Ye Zi is as beautiful as ever, and the male lead is handsome too. The OST is also very pleasing to the ear.

The screenwriter and director really took forever to come up with such a fragmented plot. Couldn't they just stick to the original work? And why does the director love those fisheye lens shots so much? It's such a waste of the attractiveness of the male and female leads. Many scenes didn't live up to the hype. Also, I don't understand the necessity of adding this new character, the second female lead. It's really awkward. Socially anxious people aren't like that, okay? It feels like they just added her for the sake of creating a love triangle with the male lead, when the female lead's roommate would have been a better choice.

It's an overplayed melodrama that's been airing repeatedly recently, and it's really irresistible to tall guys. I have two small suggestions for the adaptation. First, the male lead doesn't have to be such an arrogant genius. The superpowers he possesses are quite detached from reality. Second, could the female character's personality be more consistent? If she's meant to be a strong-willed girl, shouldn't she have different attitudes towards relationships as well? It seems unrealistic that she becomes a clueless fool whenever anything related to romance comes up. I think it's unnecessary.

Viewer: Lin Yi and Zhou Ye can be considered decent-looking among the new generation of actors. They look handsome and beautiful in other dramas, so why do they look so average here? Does the director have any sense of aesthetics? PS: The infatuated female lead in the early episodes made me uncomfortable psychologically, but the later parts focusing on the pursuit of love and the competition between Xiongjing and Cai are the main highlights and worth watching. (I hope future campus dramas will be less like a copy of "Love O2O," where college students graduate and immediately become CEOs. It feels fake.)
The storyline of this drama is really... jumping from the third episode straight to the sixth, it's just so boring. The male lead is ridiculous, ignoring real-life beauties and getting obsessed with online strangers he's never met.
No matter how you look at it, he doesn't seem to be very smart, it's just frustrating. The acting is also mediocre. I actually like two of the characters, so keep up the good work!
The screenwriter must have never attended university or worked a day in their life. Two undergraduate students who never graduated suddenly become department heads, skipping over the positions of technical experts.
They become project leaders and manage teams. The female lead constantly behaves like a love-struck fool in various situations, like a brainless character. Doesn't she ever question her intelligence? There are just too many flaws...
Love Me Not" is the best modern romantic drama I've seen in recent years, hands down! This drama has a light-hearted comedy style that is incredibly refreshing. Zhou Ye is truly, truly agile!
I adore Yue Qian Ling so much! Zhou Ye's lines are also excellent, her voice as a disguised innocent girl is completely different from her usual voice, haha. This drama is like a "beauty pageant," definitely worth watching!
Lastly, why are there so many malicious ratings?! Step back, step back, step back! "Love Me Not" hasn't offended anyone!
A college senior who hasn't even graduated manages to become a leader in a major company just because he says he wants to work in the gaming industry.
The part where the female lead pretends to be innocent and pursues the male lead is really brainless. I couldn't stand the so-called "crematorium" storyline either.
It's absurd how the female lead can still fall for the male lead after he humiliates her. It's unbelievable that such abstract plotlines still exist in this day and age.
I don't want to rant about the career aspect anymore. Like most modern romance and workplace dramas, it's just another element of the love story between the male and female leads. I can't even bear to watch the romantic scenes.
The female lead seems to alternate between being intelligent and dumb, and the male lead's charm is limited to his handsome and smart character design, with no personality or depth of thought. I'll give two stars solely for the attractiveness of the male and female leads.
And speaking of that scene where the male lead reveals his true identity, it was quite interesting.
Even browser games that scam money look more polished than this.
This drama has warmed my eyes that have been hurt by average-looking girls and unattractive guys for a long time.
Amen, lots of love!
I won't even rate it because it's heartbreaking.
First of all, the drama calendar releases episodes week by week. I initially thought it was only a little over ten episodes, but that was my carelessness, and Youku took advantage of it.
The plot is also quite strange.
The male lead likes someone he plays games with, and from his perspective, it's an unrequited online romance. When he discovers a photo revealing that they're actually in the same city and living within a 200-meter radius, a normal person would say, "Why don't we meet up?
Moreover, judging from his expression, he wants to meet up, but he doesn't take that initiative. Instead, he starts looking around as if he doesn't know what his online friend looks like. What's the point of looking around?
This plot is outrageous, and what's even more outrageous is that it happens twice. It's a shallow plot...
I could tolerate the nonsensical logic and purely superficial judgments in the earlier episodes, but the character development of the male lead in the latest episode is simply bizarre. He inexplicably ruins the birthday cake while attempting to confess his feelings...
It shows a complete lack of respect for the other person. The plot is also erratic... The sudden love interest of the confession scene had no prior foundation in the first dozen episodes. The female lead is oblivious like a fool and fails to recognize the affection from everyone around her.
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ This drama is an adaptation of Qiao Yao's novel of the same name. I've read the novel multiple times, and the plot hasn't been significantly altered. Overall, it flows smoothly.
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ The art style of this drama is very refreshing, and you can tell it has the style of Taiwanese director's romantic dramas.
ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ The biggest drawback is that Ye Zi's (也子) face, which is supposed to be so magnificent, appears so uneven and lackluster in the drama.
And Lin Yi's face, as the male lead in a romantic drama, only leaves a distinct impression of a big nose... It's truly disappointing.
Above my expectations! The plot is really funny and enjoyable, and I'm once again captivated by Fang Ying's performance. However, it's evident that this is a low-budget A-grade drama. It would be even better if the background music and set design were improved.
Zhou Ye's portrayal of a naive girl is so interesting, and it's exactly the kind of storyline I like. I hope the plot of pursuing the wife at the crematorium can be extended, as I'm most excited about Yue Jie's cold demeanor!
Don't tempt me, you're really good at creating drama! The storyline has already started with Gu Xun pursuing his wife, and I have to say the plot is very engaging. Lin Yi and Zhou Ye's acting skills are top-notch.
Moreover, during the live broadcasts, Lin Yi and Zhou Ye are very funny. Both on and off-screen, you can feel the positive atmosphere of this production team. It's been a great experience to watch this drama together. But there will be another episode tomorrow, so I hope there will be even more updates in the future.
Help! I burst out laughing when Xiaomahua shouted Gu Xun's name (when Yue Qian Ling fell off the horse). I really want to interview Gu Xun at this moment and know what he's thinking!
And the supporting roles, Huang Jie is exactly like my colleague at work, and Chen Xin Yii's portrayal of social anxiety is so relatable! From tomorrow onwards, it's only one episode per day, which doesn't satisfy my heart.
Before watching, many people were spreading brainwashing messages saying that Zhou Ye's acting skills were not good. But after watching a few episodes, I woke up. Where is she not good? She portrayed the main female characters with different personalities from the game and real life.
The plot and pacing are also very good, interesting, not dry at all. And the pursuit of the wife storyline is hilarious, haha. It's a very enjoyable drama to watch while having a meal.
The plot is a bit cliché, but it's the kind of cheesy and sentimental puppet-like storyline that I enjoy, so I still watched it happily. It's also heartwarming to see the actors from "Starry Night" appearing in this drama.
Their acting is pretty good, especially Wang Jin, who plays Jiang's assistant.
I'm actually quite disappointed. The plot in the novel was decent, so why does the screenwriter keep making random changes? If they can't do it right, why not just stick to the original?
The male lead's career storyline is not at all appealing and completely over the top. I really don't understand why the female lead likes him. He's truly petty, especially when he doesn't want his subordinates to interact with the female lead and assigns her work.
It's really frustrating. And knowing that the microphone is on but refusing the female lead without any respect for her, there are many such plotlines in the drama.
It's just baffling. The characterization of the male lead is really disappointing, and his attitude towards pursuing the female lead is problematic. The carefree plot made me want to give it a rating of 2, but because it's Zhou Ye's drama, I reluctantly gave it a 4.
I only continued watching because of Zhou Ye's beauty, but every episode makes me frustrated with the male lead. It's just exasperating.
I suggest everyone watch the first seven episodes. I think the first seven episodes are quite decent, and I found them very funny. Plus, Zhou Ye's looks are also appealing. However, after that, it becomes a cliché storyline, and I feel like there are many illogical elements.
The male lead suddenly becomes an executive, but he keeps helping the female lead in her career. They both just graduated from university, so why is that happening? I don't understand at all. Honestly, starting from the eighth episode, I'm already losing interest.
I'm currently at episode 11, and there's nothing much to look forward to. It feels like a disappointing experience. I've already watched nearly half of it, but I think it's better to give up. It's a bit of a shame, but it's just not engaging to continue watching.
