Episode 6 recap: Yuan Ming Yu and Ye Shao developed a hidden affection for each other.

Yuan Ming Yu started providing disaster relief, but the officials were inherently greedy. They shamelessly embezzled the relief food, causing the victims to receive meager and watery meals. Yuan Ming Yu was furious and ordered Ye Shao to arrest these corrupt officials and bring them to justice.

As the disaster relief efforts progressed, the problem of food shortage worsened, and the price of rice skyrocketed. Yuan Ming Yu instructed Ye Shao to find the last four rice merchants who had raised their prices. When Ye Shao asked why specifically the last four, Yuan Ming Yu replied that they were surely the ones who had no other choice and were the most vulnerable to manipulation. After the four rice merchants arrived, Yuan Ming Yu used a steaming hot pancake as an example and explained to them the concept of cooperation and entrepreneurship. The four owners were enlightened and went back to implement the strategy. As a result, the price of rice dropped, and everyone could participate in cooperative buying, obtaining rice at the lowest possible price.

After the problem was resolved, Ye Shao accompanied Yuan Ming Yu to celebrate with drinks. Both of them drank too much, and as they looked into each other's eyes, they saw a hint of love.
