Episode 16 recap: An Haiyang came to find An Lu Yi and them.
When Lu Xiaoqing and them came back, they found that Sun Meng was no longer here. An Lu Yi thought they should now figure out what happened to Sun Meng in order to better help him. An Lu Yi helped by sending a text message, thinking that he should go to the police now that a crime had been committed. This way, they could solve the problem, and if someone tried to harm him, nothing would happen.
Sun Meng called and said he had figured things out and wanted to expose them. Someone on this side answered Sun Meng's call and heard that he wanted to go to a restroom. They immediately drove over and ran over Sun Meng, killing him. When An Lu Yi and them arrived, they happened to see Sun Meng being run over and were extremely shocked. An Haiyang hurried over and found An Lu Yi and them. An Lu Yi and them said they had killed that person and asked An Haiyang what they should do now.
An Haiyang asked about Xu Zilin's identity, and Xu Zilin said she was Xu Zilin. An Haiyang said they would talk about this later and that they should first go to the Anti-Fraud Center with him. Xu Zilin and them arrived at the Anti-Fraud Center, where An Haiyang took out the video of Lu Xiaoqing's previous audition. It was then that Lu Xiaoqing and them realized that they had been unconsciously manipulated.
An Haiyang asked them to make a statement.
