Episode 6 recap: An Haiyang and others continue the investigation.
Lin Zhujun brought over the finalized plan, but An Haiyang has not been answering the phone or returning messages. They can only wait for him here. Ju Xue is also here and thinks the plan is well-detailed. An Haiyang happens to arrive, and Ju Xue asks him to take a good look at it. An Haiyang says he will look at it after work, but Ju Xue points out that as police officers, they don't really have off-duty hours, and Captain Hao also emphasized the importance of publicity.
An Haiyang receives a phone call and needs to leave immediately. He says he will look at it later. An Haiyang leaves first, and Ju Xue assures Lin Zhujun that she will keep an eye on An Haiyang. Captain Hao asks An Haiyang how the investigation is going, and An Haiyang says they looked into these companies and found that although they are supposedly founded by Zhou Guangquan, he is not the actual controlling person.
Captain Hao tells them to hold onto this thread tightly. Lin Zhujun talks to Deng Ran about recent events, and Lin Zhujun doesn't know what's come over him—he's been paying a lot of attention to An Haiyang and really wants to see him. Deng Ran mentions the person she's been chatting with online and says she feels the same way as Lin Zhujun. She never expected someone else would also like such niche movies.
Lin Zhujun asks Deng Ran if the person she met online is reliable, and Deng Ran thinks there's no problem and that they seem pretty good.
