Episode 12 recap: Wu Geng enters the Tianqi stage.
Fu Xi has no knowledge of Bai Cai's origins, nor does he understand why her Protoss element is sealed. If it is indeed some ancient power with extremely Yin and cold characteristics, he can vaguely guess its origins. Xin Wang is dead, but the lamp representing the God of War burns brighter and stronger. Xin Yue Kui suspects that Xin Wang is not the chosen God of War as prophesied.
A Lan tells Wu Geng that the Colorless Realm's Protoss power is the most powerful among all Protoss powers. When cultivated to the highest realm, it can take away the lives of all beings in the Three Realms. Zi Dian planned to kill Wu Geng while he was severely injured, but A Lan arrived to stop him. Wu Geng took advantage of the situation, broke through the paralysis caused by Zi Dian, and led him to confront Qiong Qi. As a result, both sides suffered losses in the battle.
Wu Geng did not take the opportunity to kill Zi Dian when he was injured, as he was willing to spare him because Zi Dian had once saved his master, A Lan. Wu Geng did not intend to harm Qiong Qi either. Instead, he took out medicine to treat its injuries. He told Qiong Qi about Bai Cai's importance to him. Although Qiong Qi did not like to interact with humans, it was also influenced by Wu Geng and gave him a piece of its horn.
Wu Geng, with his injured body, gave Qiong Qi's horn to Kong Que and asked him to heal Bai Cai as soon as possible. Fu Xi thought about the mysterious Protoss power within Bai Cai's body and wondered if she had ever inquired about the divination horn, speculating that she had seen it before.
A Lan came to confess to the High Priest for privately giving Dragon Whale Incense to Wu Geng. Fu Xi was disappointed with A Lan for this matter, but since Wu Geng was safe and sound, he did not punish A Lan. According to the prophecy, Wu Geng is the human race's God of War and the only one who can defeat Hei Long. Fu Xi entrusted Wu Geng to A Lan, hoping that A Lan would protect him.
There are some things that even he cannot predict, perhaps many things will be different when Bai Cai wakes up. He hopes that even if he is no longer around one day, A Lan can help Wu Geng fulfill his mission. After taking Qiong Qi's horn, Bai Cai successfully woke up and learned that Wu Geng had been injured while searching for medicine for her.
Bai Cai learned that she was poisoned and was terrified that Wu Geng almost lost his life in search of the medicine. A Lan came to question Zi Dian for wanting to kill Wu Geng, and Zi Dian did not deny it but instead accused A Lan of giving Dragon Whale Incense to Wu Geng.
A Lan took action to teach Zi Dian a lesson for his bullying of the weak. As a result, Zi Dian suspected that A Lan had developed feelings for Wu Geng. A Lan warned Zi Dian to stay away from Wu Geng in the future, and if anything happened to Wu Geng, not only would she not spare him, but the High Priest would not forgive him either.
Wu Geng followed A Lan and learned that she had given him the Dragon Whale Incense yesterday. He expressed his gratitude to A Lan, but she only said that he should return it when he had his own Dragon Whale Incense in the future. She also instructed Wu Geng to intensify his training. After continuous training, Wu Geng is about to enter the Tianqi stage, which is a Protoss power possessed only by the Protoss.
A Lan tells Wu Geng that the Colorless Realm's Protoss power is the rarest among all Protoss powers. When cultivated to the highest realm, it can take away the lives of all beings in the Three Realms. The only one who possesses this kind of Protoss power among the Protoss is Hei Long. The second to the Colorless Realm's Protoss power is the Primordial Realm's Protoss power, which is obtained through the abilities of ancient Protoss beasts. Next is the Asura Realm's Protoss power, which can summon living beings. Her Assassin Butterfly is the Asura Realm's Protoss power, and the most terrifying among them is the Ten Xings.
There is also the Void Perception Realm's Protoss power, possessed by Fu Xi, Xin Yue Kui, Heart's Moon Fox, and Bai Long.
Tian Kui possesses infinite Protoss power in the Diamond Realm, while Gui Mu can control toxins with his Protoss power in the Earth Treasury Realm. Zi Dian's Protoss power in the Myriad Realms Realm can harness the power of nature, and Chief Kong Que's Protoss power in the Everlasting Realm can heal all wounds.
Wu Geng learns that the Colorless Realm possesses the most powerful Protoss power and he desires to awaken the Colorless Realm Protoss power. Xin Yue Kui notices that the prophetic lamp representing the God of War is burning brighter and stronger, but Xin Wang has already died, leading her to suspect that Xin Wang was not the chosen God of War as prophesied. She wants to eliminate this threat to the Protoss King.
Xin Yue Kui seeks out her father, Fu Xi, believing that with his power, she can accurately determine who the chosen God of War is. Years ago, Xin Yue Kui secretly practiced an ancient forbidden curse to enhance her Protoss power, but Heart's Moon Fox discovered it and tried to dissuade her. However, Fu Xi eventually found out about it and forced Xin Yue Kui to break the curse, causing her to resent him deeply.
Xin Yue Kui uses a healing elixir to attract Gui Mu, who is willing to follow her orders in order to restore his injured Protoss element. Gui Mu agrees to help Xin Yue Kui find Fu Xi. Fu Xi finds Bai Cai and asks her about the origin of her cold condition. Bai Cai explains that she was born with the cold condition.
Fu Xi tells Bai Cai a legend among the Protoss. After the ancient war, Hei Long searched the Three Realms for a crystal that could unlock the ancient Protoss power hidden within Crystal Mountain. Over ten years ago, this crystal suddenly appeared, and Hei Long sent Protoss warriors to search for its whereabouts. However, they were all annihilated, and the ones who killed them were the radiant light of the ancient crystal.
Bai Cai recalls how her parents entrusted the crystal to her and told her to hide it. However, her parents were injured and discovered, and in a critical moment, the radiant light of the crystal killed the Protoss warriors. Before her father died, he removed Bai Cai's ears, completing the final seal. Fu Xi realizes that the cold poison within Bai Cai's body is very similar to the radiant light of the crystal, and she also has the sealed ancient Protoss element. Fu Xi asks Bai Cai who she really is, and Bai Cai questions whether Fu Xi's bone divination can predict the location of the crystal. Fu Xi does not deny it.
Bai Cai believes that Fu Xi is the enemy who killed her parents and tries to take revenge. A Lan discovers Gui Mu's poisonous locusts and hurriedly informs High Priest Fu Xi. When Wu Geng returns to his room, he finds Fu Xi about to kill Bai Cai. He questions Fu Xi's actions, and Bai Cai accuses Fu Xi of being the one who killed her parents.
However, Fu Xi denies killing Bai Cai's parents, explaining that his bone divination was once stolen, and he searched the places Bai Cai had been to with the divination. He assures them that he never ordered anyone to kill Bai Cai's parents. But Bai Cai does not believe Fu Xi's words, and Wu Geng witnessed Fu Xi's attempt to kill Bai Cai, leading him to doubt Fu Xi as well.
Wu Geng doesn't want Bai Cai to be in danger, so he takes her away from the Hidden Protoss Tribe. On their way, they see Gui Mu arriving at the Hidden Protoss Village, and Wu Geng worries about the safety of the Protoss tribe. He decides to go back and save them, and Bai Cai, grateful for the help they received from the tribe, agrees to accompany Wu Geng.
Fu Xi learns that their location has been exposed, but it's too late to move the villagers. Gui Mu found the village by following the corpse toxin in Bai Cai's body. Fu Xi sends A Lan to notify the villagers while he stays behind to confront Gui Mu. Wu Geng arrives to assist Fu Xi. Fu Xi tells Bai Cai that Xin Yue Kui once stole his bone divination, and he acknowledges that Xin Yue Kui's mistakes ultimately stem from his own faults.
