Episode 14 recap: Wu GengA Lan headed to the King's City.

Wu Geng considered himself inadequate, even though he always talked about defeating Hei Long. However, now he couldn't even defeat Ten Xing, and he couldn't even protect the people around him. A Lan possessed the Protoss ability of clairvoyance and could glimpse into the future. She predicted that Wu Geng was the person she saw in her visions. Wu Geng wanted to find his uncle Zi Yu in the King's City and hoped that he would help him reach the Divine Realm.

After the war, the hidden tribe of the Protoss villagers sought refuge in a temporary location to build their homes. At the same time, Chief Kong Que gave birth to a boy, and the injured Wu Geng was saved by the Child of the Clouds. After Chief Kong Que examined Wu Geng, he discovered that Wu Geng's left arm had been injured by the Protoss power, and even the mighty power of the Protoss in the Eternal Life Realm couldn't heal him.

When Wu Geng woke up, he wanted to search for Ten Xing, but Chief Kong Que advised him to rest and recover from the injury caused by the Protoss power. The Child of the Clouds believed that the immediate priority was to rebuild the hidden Protoss village, but Chief Kong Que didn't want to choose a new location and didn't want to keep hiding with the villagers. He wanted to rebuild the Protoss village in the original place and wait for the return of the High Priest.

A Lan received a message from the Chief and hurried to meet him. When she arrived at the gathering place, she saw Wu Geng practicing late at night. A Lan advised Wu Geng that he had just failed in Tian Qi and his body had not yet recovered, so he should gradually progress in his training. Wu Geng felt useless and said that he always talked about defeating Hei Long, but now he couldn't even pass Ten Xing and couldn't protect the people around him.

A Lan told Wu Geng that Fu Xi had previously predicted that the person who could defeat Hei Long was Wu Geng. Although Wu Geng had failed in Tian Qi, he had awakened the most powerful Protoss power in the Three Realms, the "Colorless Realm Protoss power," which made him unique.

Encouraged by A Lan's words, Wu Geng regained his spirits and declared that Ten Xing would be the first Protoss he would defeat on his path to resist the Protoss. Wu Geng unexpectedly learned that Fu Xi had been captured by Xin Yue Kui, and he also discovered that Fu Xi was Xin Yue Kui's father, making Fu Xi his grandfather.

A Lan explained that she had concealed their relationship because Fu Xi wanted to ensure Wu Geng's safety and also test him. Wu Geng felt grateful to his grandfather for teaching him and helping him grow, but now he didn't have the opportunity to meet him. Determined to rescue Fu Xi, who was imprisoned, Wu Geng decided to first save Bai Cai in the King's City. He believed that if his uncle Zi Yu was also in the King's City, he would surely help him, increasing their chances of success in reaching the Protoss domain.

The chief summoned the villagers to discuss how to rescue Fu Xi. A Lan told everyone that the High Priest had foreseen Xin Yue Kui's attack on the hidden Protoss village. As a precaution, the High Priest left her a lamp made of dragon whale incense.

A Lan lit the dragon whale incense, and Fu Xi's message revealed that if he encountered any unforeseen circumstances, everyone should prioritize preserving their vital energy and not attempt to rescue him. They must ensure the protection of Wu Geng. A Lan also received a message from Fu Xi stating that if necessary, she should kill Bai Cai. However, she didn't disclose this information to the others.

A Lan couldn't understand why the usually compassionate High Priest would be so ruthless towards Bai Cai. Wu Geng told A Lan that he wanted to go to the King's City first to deal with Ten Xing. Although he currently lacked the ability to defeat Ten Xing, he believed that if he didn't even have the courage to face Ten Xing, how could he rescue Bai Cai and his uncle Zi Yu, let alone confront Hei Long.

Chief Kong Que noticed A Lan's different attitude towards Wu Geng. Observing A Lan's repeated acts of kindness towards him, Kong Que realized that A Lan had feelings for Wu Geng. However, Kong Que kindly reminded A Lan that a romantic relationship between a human and a Protoss would only lead to disaster, as evidenced by the tragedy of Heart's Moon Fox and Ten Xing. Kong Que didn't want A Lan to get hurt. He believed that if Wu Geng was determined to attack the Protoss domain, then all his experiences thus far were part of his destined path. Kong Que advised A Lan to leave everything to fate and not try to help Wu Geng avoid troubles.

Although Chief Kong Que tried to persuade A Lan, she insisted on accompanying Wu Geng to the King's City. Bai Cai woke up in the King's City and found it eerie and terrifying, while Ten Xing was behaving abnormally. Bai Cai initially wanted to take the opportunity to escape the city, but she discovered that it was filled with zombies, making it impossible for her to leave.

Chief Kong Que brought the villagers to bid farewell to Wu Geng and A Lan. He warned Wu Geng about the dangers of the journey and advised him not to confront Ten Xing directly. The Child of the Clouds lent Wu Geng their precious gourd, and Zi Dian allowed Wu Geng to borrow his Protoss power from the Colorless Realm to protect A Lan. Everyone hoped that Wu Geng and A Lan would return safely.

The King's City was located deep in the desert, a place inaccessible to ordinary humans. Its exact location was also a mystery. Wu Geng was worried about Bai Cai and wanted to find the location of the King's City as soon as possible. Unable to escape from the city, Bai Cai was forced by Ten Xing to deliver food to the prisoners being held there, and it was during this task that she encountered Zi Yu, who was also imprisoned.
